A beautiful and rewarding experience—with a few things to know ahead of time. We did the shorter route through Washington Slagbaai National Park and hiked Brandaris, and it ended up being one of the highlights of our trip. The views from the top are absolutely worth it, but be prepared—it gets a bit challenging near the top with a steeper, rockier climb. Bring plenty of water. The heat and sun exposure are no joke, and the park does not allow hiking after noon for safety reasons, which says a lot. The drive through the park is very rough and bumpy, so take your time and be prepared for that. There is a bathroom stop about halfway through the short route, which is helpful. Overall, an incredible experience if you’re prepared. Highly recommend for anyone looking to explore the natural side of Bonaire.

Glad we did the guided tour vs doing it on our own. Our tour guide, Eddie, was awesome. He was very knowledgeable and taught us things about the island, it's people, animals and plants. He also made extra stops along the way to tell about certain things. Great experience!!

Best tour we did in Bonaire. Eddie was the best guide and so fun to spend the day with. Unbelievable, the natural diversity in the park. Loved all of it. The park is beautiful! Worth the STINAPA entry fee too.

Our guide Eddie was wonderful and provided so much information about the island and its history. We enjoyed every stop, especially the snorkeling which was the best we have seen so far in Bonaire. The provided food and drinks were great. Highly recommend this tour!

We had a very nice day! We went out with John and he told us a lot about the nature of the park but also about Bonaire in general. With the story behind it makes it so much more fun! Nice change: nature, sightseeing and a nice snorkel spot. Lunch was well catered for. John did his best to make it pleasant for everyone. When in doubt: do! Recommended!

Great overview of the park, fun guide Eddy. Fun to visit the blowhole, see both coasts, hear the history, etc. Only comment is that I was in the back of a bumpy jeep, lots of potholes, more uncomfortable than I expected even though I knew the roads would be rough. (I’m seeing my chiropractor Monday!)

Beautiful hike to the ocean. Saw blowhole wave, flamingos, tiny shells and the old wall. Be sure to have a lot of water. There is zero shade. Cover up.
