We offer a unique experience to kayak without leaving El calafate. The bay in front of the village offers a very large variety of birds and the view of the snowy mountains and the tranquility of the place make this a unique experience. Groups are small and we focus mainly on enjoying the natural environment by carrying out an activity that has no impact on the environment.

What To Expect

We will pick you up at your hotels and head to the Round Bay of Lake Argentina. After a technical talk and fitting out, we will go kayaking, so we can observe the wonderful view of the mountains and birds. We will return again to the departure point, provide you with something to drink and return to each other's hotels.

It all starts very well, with the two guides showing all their cordiality, their knowledge, professionalism and attention to the safety of the participants, preparing them in all aspects (suitable dress, technical knowledge and maneuvers necessary for the sailing stage). During the walk they are attentive to the sensations of each and seek that the participants enjoy the most of nature. They know the area very well and provide information about fauna, flora and history of the place. With the technical clothes that will be provided, they will not be cold (we went in spring), because it protects from the wind and are several layers. In addition, with exercise they will warm up. A beautiful experience in itself and, for those who want to do other kayaking on the lake, will give them great confidence and peace of mind, as they will arrive with much more knowledge and practical experience.
