What To Expect
Day 1 10 am - Registration and documentation 11 am - Dive Theory – Entails briefing, watching video, reading, knowledge reviews, quizzes, loggive dives and dive debriefing. 12 nn - Lunch Break 1 pm – Confined Water Dive Training - The instructor will bring you to the beach in the shallow and eventually to an area too deep to stand up in to practice skills. 3 pm – Your first Open Water Dive - When you are ready, your instructor will take you on a boat dive to a suitable depth required by the course. By the end of the course, you would have done 5 Open Water Dives. 4:30 - Logging your Dive and Dive Theory Day 2 8 am Confined Water Dive Training 9 am – Open Water Dive 2 11 am - Dive Theory 12 nn - Lunch Break 1:30 - Confined Water Dive Training 3 pm – Open Water Dive 3 4 pm – Logging dives and Dive Theory Day 3 8 am - Dive Theory 10 am – Confined Water Dive Training 12 nn - Lunch Break 1 - Open Water Dive 4 2 pm – Logging dives, Dive Theory or others that may have not been fulfilled Day 4 8 am to 5 pm – Catch up on skills, dives and theory that were not fulfilled. Final Exam Paper work for Certification CELEBRATE!

5.00I found watercolors through the PADI website, as they are one of the few 5* diving centers in Boracay, PH. I just hopped by and met the instructor. He was very relaxed and told me about the possibilities. I was positively surprised they are very flexible in terms of when you’d like to do your dives. This was totally according to my schedule. I was able to get my certificate in just 3 days. The instructor is very relaxed and adapts to your learning progress. The rest of the staff is very professional, friendly and service oriented as well. I can definitely recommend this place!

A special shoutout to Jimmy, my instructor, who was absolutely fantastic. His patience, expertise, and positive attitude made all the difference. Not only did I get to enjoy my first dive, but I also completed my PADI Open Water certification with Jimmy's guidance. Jimmy took the time to explain everything thoroughly and made sure I was comfortable in every step. The underwater experience was breathtaking, and I felt fully supported the entire time. 5.00Took the Open Diver's License with Jimmy. He was a extremely helpful and instructive teacher/instructor. Funny and humorous guy that is very knowledgeable about diving. Definitely will come back to Watercolors to do my Advanced Open Water License.

5.00Cannot comment on the diving experience, as we did not do that. What I can say is that Martin and Ethel made us feel very welcome when we happened upon their establishment on New Year’s Eve. We stayed for drinks and had a great conversation with Martin. It’s a clean, well-appointed place with the nicest staff with the biggest smiles! The menu was carefully explained to us and is all available on your phone via a QR code. It even detects what table you are sitting at! We returned on New Year’s Day for lunch and was impressed that the staff remembered us and that the owners remembered our names as well, a nice touch! The menu is varied and our choices were delicious. They cater for Western palates as well as Filipinos. It’s a quiet venue in Station One, which is nice as you can escape the busyness of the rest of the beach. We will be making several more visits during our time on the island and would recommend a visit if you’re passing. Even if you’re not passing, find them out and spend a few hours there, you will not be disappointed.

5.00We had a great experience with dive instructor Jimmy. Jimmy was very friendly, responsible and patient with teaching. He always made sure we were okay underwater. We even decided to do the Advanced Open Water course immediately after the Open Water course. Very friendly and helpful staff at dive shop too. Definitely recommend dive shop and instructor.
