From the centrally located Waterfront to the quiet bays and panoramic lookouts, you’ll be enthralled from start to finish. These quality electric bikes are easy to use and make riding up hills a breeze. If you can ride a bike, you can ride an eBike! Your guide will keep you and your group safe with helmets provided and full riding instruction. This 3-4 hour tour is lighthearted, fun and engaging with the focus on riding and finding the best view points. You’ll get a local’s perspective on the culture and history of our vibrant capital city and surrounding bays.

What To Expect
We pick up every guest arriving on a cruise ship from outside the ship. When: 9:30am (Day of tour) Where: Independent Operators Pick up Zone Who: One of our staff members holding a blue Switched on Bikes sign. Walk past the shuttle busses and look for us next to the vans.
Our shop is the starting point for your tour. By Chaffers Dock Marina, just a 5 minute walk from Wellington iSite information centre and Te Papa Museum. and have a cafe on site if you arrive early. We'll set you up on your bike with a helmet and provide you with full instruction on how to use your eBike (it's easy!). We've got a large car-free space to get used to riding before we set off.

5.00Our tour guides Tara and Dylan were awesome. Tara told so many great stories and taught us so much about the culture and conservation efforts of the area. And the bikes we road were top quality. Great ride and it ended with a stop for ice cream. Perfect!!! We rode a total of ~15 miles.

5.00Jack and Ryan were excellent guides through Wellington! Jack was knowledgeable and entertaining as he led us up to a lovely overlook and thru the Prison Gardens. The bikes were great, and both he and Ryan were sure that we were safe and having a good time. The gelato was amazing! I would highly recommend!

5.00We spent almost 3 hours with 2 other couples from our cruise with Patrick, our seasoned guide. He showed us all the sights along the bay & took us up to a high overlook of the City and provided interesting information about the city and made we were safe and understood how the well kept bikes worked best.. Highly recommend Patrick & this company! Great value & fun!

5.00How about this...you want to move your body, see the sights, meet a nice guide (Patrick!) and also some like-minded adventurers, in a beautiful city - then yes, this trip is a five star plus trip. The e-bikes are of high quality, the track is easy to ride, and the views are stunning. And it includes a gelato stop. What more could you ask for? This 65+ lady enjoyed it immensely.

5.00What a great way to see Wellington which we did on E-bikes our guide Patrick was extremely knowledgeable and very safety conscious which we really appreciated. We got to many of the city’s highlights including a vista which gave us a bird’s eye view of the city and port. I would certainly enjoy doing this tour again. The bikes were of excellent quality.

5.00Amazing experience. Had a lift from the cruise ship into town. Christian was a knowledgeable and patient guide. The ride up the hill was easy with the turbo setting on the bike. Enjoyed a lovely drink at the cafe to finish it off. Will definitely do it again!
