We did a tour in the chardonnay basement. Theo was our guide for over 1.5 hours. Was a winner!! What a beautiful wine estate!

The "Best wine tourism experience in the world" award, was not an understatement. When I booked for the Cap Classique experience, and they said that you are going to bottle your own bottle of Cap Classique, I thought by myself "Ja, ok......???". But you REALLY bottle your own bottle of CC. From disgorging the ice plug containing the dead yeast to applying to most beautiful personalized label to the bottle. Téo was OUR friendly host during this wonderful experience and considering that you actually take home your own bottle of CC, the price was very reasonable. Afterwards we went for a Chardonnay and Cap Classique tasting. If Chardonnay was not your "Cup of tea", after this tasting the Weltevrede Chardonnay wines will be your newly found favourite. Well done Téo, and Weltevrede for a wonderful experience, thank you

Very beautiful farm, and fascinating history of the family and winemakers. We loved the Poets Prayer especially and the unusual tunnel tour. A great day all round.

We had an absolute fabulous experience during the Cap Classique tour at Weltevrede. Elzet explained the wine production process in a pleasant way and took all the time to answer our questions. The wine tasting was great but the complete experience, atmosphere and Elzets guidance was unique in its kind. We visited numerous wineries, Weltevrede is the absolute winner.

What an absolutely magical experience! I booked this a gift for my husband’s birthday not knowing whether I’d enjoy it as much. Boy was I wrong! The friendly service, the wine, the food - an absolute 10/10! From our arrival to our departure we had an incredible time. Learning about their Cap Classique and wines was amazing. We even corked and labeled our own Cap Classique! We walked away with two boxes of wine and Cap Classique (we should’ve bought more!). The food was a cullinary delight! I cannot recommend this experience highly enough. Thank you Weltevrede Estate. We’ll definitely be back.

Welteverde where the restaurant(Kapokbos) is gaining itself a very good reputation but we only had time and the opportunity to arrange a wine tasting and grab a few delicious goodies at their deli. The variety of wines were fabulous, well conducted by member of staff and in fact we found all of the staff here in whatever role very engaging, happy and proud to be working here. Beautiful gardens and well laid out this really seems to be set up for everyone and especially people with families. Delightful tasting, next time their restaurant.
