Scotland‘s West Highlands are beautiful! Ester was our guide and she was a font of knowledge. Loved visiting Doune Castle, especially if you’re a Monty Pythons fan! Delicious lunch in Inverary at Ocho. Great Whisky shopping there and nice shoppes. Visited Luss on the shores of Loch Lomand. Beautiful scenery. Highly recommend this tour.

What an amazing tour! Our guide Roy was very knowledgeable and entertaining telling us the history and lore of this enchanted land. My favorite was Doune Castle (from Monte Python and The Holy Grail) and the Highland Furry Cows! Roy went out of his way to find them for us. Would definitely recommend this tour and guide.

  • Great itinerary; poor driver ruined it.

The itinerary for this tour is excellent. It provides a real look at and experience with the Highlands. (Hint: get your tickets online for Inveraray Castle directly from them in advance. They have a terrific cafe (with gluten free options) and the staff throughout are helpful and friendly) The ISSUE: the day of our tour was rainy. Our Rabbie coach driver (without a tour guide; usually there are two staff) drove recklessly around narrow roads and my husband and I were not happy about feeling in a dangerous position. We are world travelers and have gone on dozens of tours. This was the first one where we felt our driver was reckless.

Fascinating trip through history! And the beauty! Michael was fantastic. As a history teacher he was very knowledgeable. We loved every minute of the excursion.

It was a great experience! We love it! Our driver Hannah was amazing. Our only complaint is that we did not have enough time in Inveraray. Either you visit the castle or walk around the town and eat. An additional hour in Inveraray would have been perfect. I would preferred to skip Loch Lomond and spend the extra time in Inveraray.
