A Peaceful Encounter:
Whale sharks are massive, yet incredibly gentle. Most of the individuals we see here are juveniles, but even at this young stage, they’re already between 4 and 9 meters long, impressive to see up close.

What To Expect
Embark on an unforgettable whale shark swimming experience in a small group (4 to 12 people). Only 5 participants will be in the water at once, swimming for a maximum of 30 minutes with each whale shark. Our expert guide will be by your side, ensuring a fantastic experience without disturbing these incredible creatures. The 2 hour adventure offers multiple opportunities to swim with different whale sharks. If you prefer, you can also enjoy the view from the boat. Plus, keep an eye out for dolphins encounters with these playful creatures are common. Light snack and water are included for a relaxed and enjoyable excursion. IMPORTANT TO READ : Whale shark authority regulates the activity by allowing 4 times slot (7 am, 9 am, 11 am and 1 pm), and in each time slot, only a certain number of boats are allowed. We are only allowed to ask for our time slot a day prior to the trip. That means that there is a possibility that we don't get the 9 am time slot. In this case, tour operator will contact you a day prior to the trip and offer the possibility to get on an earlier or later time slot. This is why it is important to check your email, SMS and WhatsApp message the day before the trip.

5.00What a terrific experience. Hamza's choice of captain and crew was excellent. Whale shark biologist lessons and crazy experience swimming with them. Clearly they cared for the sharks and balanced their comfort and safety with our chance to swim closely with them.

5.00What an experience! Once we found our whale shark things moved fast! It is an absolutely amazing feeling to swim next to one of these fantastic animals and Baja Wild Adventures has the team to make it happen. Francesca shared interesting information as we made our way out to the sharks and then she and the crew set us up for successful swims with one of the beautiful giants. It was the highlight of my trip!

5.00The sun made a big difference. We got so excited the first time even though it was cloudy, we booked it again and got some great photos. It was delightful. Both times!.They were different experiences because the shark we saw today was super chill and swam in a big circle the whole time. Plus was go to swim with a bottlenose dolphin as well. Super cool. The two sharks we swam with the first time were a bit faster but also stopped and went vertical in the water and stuck their mouths above the surface so we got to see all sides of them. The smaller group of just 6 people made a huge difference. It was magical. I highly recommend them. Both guides were fun and knowledgeable.

5.00Excellent tour from start to finish. It was amazing to see whale sharks. Hamza contacted in advance to confirm time and Francesca is a great guide. The tour consists of locating sharks by boat and once found jump to see them snorkeling in groups of up to 5 people. It is an absolutely unforgettable experience.

5.00I had an incredible time swimming alongside whale sharks. They were huge and beautiful! The captain and guide took good care of us, making sure we all had a chance to get a good look and as we were a small group, we were all able to enter the water at the same time rather than having to wait and take turns. Also want to give a huge shoutout to Hamza from Baja Wild Adventures who was so kind, communicative and helpful along the way. Definitely will be back to swim with whale sharks again!
