A Peaceful Encounter:
Whale sharks are massive, yet incredibly gentle. Most of the individuals we see here are juveniles, but even at this young stage, they’re already between 4 and 9 meters long, impressive to see up close.

What To Expect
Embark on an unforgettable whale shark swimming experience in a small group (4 to 12 people). Only 5 participants will be in the water at once, swimming for a maximum of 30 minutes with each whale shark. Our expert guide will be by your side, ensuring a fantastic experience without disturbing these incredible creatures. The 2 hour adventure offers multiple opportunities to swim with different whale sharks. If you prefer, you can also enjoy the view from the boat. Plus, keep an eye out for dolphins encounters with these playful creatures are common. Light snack and water are included for a relaxed and enjoyable excursion. IMPORTANT TO READ : Whale shark authority regulates the activity by allowing 4 times slot (7 am, 9 am, 11 am and 1 pm), and in each time slot, only a certain number of boats are allowed. We are only allowed to ask for our time slot a day prior to the trip. That means that there is a possibility that we don't get the 9 am time slot. In this case, tour operator will contact you a day prior to the trip and offer the possibility to get on an earlier or later time slot. This is why it is important to check your email, SMS and WhatsApp message the day before the trip.

5.00Hamza was very good! We did the whale shark swim in La Paz and it was a unique experience. From the beginning, super attentive and with great tips to make the most of the adventure. The rules were clear, the course safe and the view of the sea, breathtaking. The best thing is that he is a biologist and you can tell that he is passionate about the oceans, he transmits that energy. Fully recommended if you want to live something authentic and exciting!

5.00This was a great experience. My wife and I really enjoyed it. Natalia, Hamza and Lobo were our crew. Natalia was a great guide, Hamza handled all the logistics and spotted the sharks while Lobo was the boat captain. They all spoke English. Natalia’s and Hamza’s English was really good. It was a much more active tour than I anticipated. I envisioned tranquilly snorkeling around a placid whale shark. Obviously, sharks are made to swim and a leisurely feeding for a whale shark is a workout for a human. The crew divided the tourists into three groups and we took turns cycling in and out of the water. I would have liked more time in the water but I’m pretty fit and swim for exercise. I also have significant experience snorkeling and scuba diving but I think most of the passengers were grateful for the rest. The event is heavily regulated by the Mexican government. The number of boats, number of passengers on each boat and number of swimmers with each shark are all regulated. Even the boats’ velocity is controlled. All this provides margin of safety for the sharks while allowing you an amazing opportunity to see an amazing animal in it’s natural environment. When all was said and done Natalia airdropped and emailed videos that she took in the water with swimmers and the shark. 100% highly recommend.

5.00The whole crew was great especially Hamza and mar. We located the whale sharks and even in somewhat inclimate weather they managed to make sure that we all had a chance to be in the water with with them. They took care of as well and I would highly recommend them.

5.00We could not see the whale shark, because very few had reached the sea of cuts. But the tour manager super friendly and looking for other alternatives to enjoy the tour, we were very tight snorkeling for a very good time, and the fish ceviche we ate on the beach was requisitionism. Thank you.
