Absolutely Fabulous Experience. The staff were so friendly & knowledgeable. When we would stop to watch whales it was explained each time what the behaviour was they were displaying along with other interesting facts. We Saw lots of whales, Mothers & calves were special to see. the staff certainly knew what to look for. The boat is very open so no matter where you sit you can see all around & lots of space for everyone to get up when the whales are seen & get lots of photos . We were lucky enough when the boat was stopped a Mother & calf actually swam over and surfaced right beside the boat it was Amazing. It is a Must do Experience whether you are a local or traveller. I CAN'T RECOMMEND COASTXP Highly enough.

Fabulous experience with the lovely Dom who was also celebrating his Birthday doing what he loves. We all enjoyed it. The magnificent creatures were a bit elusive and the the magnificent breach. Dom was patient and knowledgeable and all in all fantastic.

What a great experience! We booked the Whale Watching Discovery Tour from Lake Macquarie which departed from the jetty adjacent to the Swansea RSL. The booking process online is easy, with a reminder email sent out the day before the tour. Our small boat was captained by Tracey, who was friendly, professional and a credit to the company. The small boat, with seating for only 12 passengers, made the tour more personal and allowed us to get up close to the amazing whales we saw. After an initial slow start with some very shy whales, Tracey found us several pods of frisky males. We were delighted. We could hear them interacting with each other and almost feel as if we were part of the pod. The cruise is two hours long. This was ample time for the experience. Tracey safely navigated back to the jetty and we bid farewell, taking with us some great memories of our day.

It was a excellent morning. Dom went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time and got to see some whales! Communication was great when we had to reschedule due to weather. Would definitely recommend.

Great trip! Tracey worked hard to manoeuvre our boat, to maximise our whale viewing. She was helpful, informative and an excellent guide. We thoroughly enjoyed our trip, and can highly recommend it.

The boat was super fast, which came in handy when whales were seen breaching in the distance. When we got closer we got to see two whales breaching at the same time. We saw more whales that day than I ever saw over my lifetime. It was a wonderful experience and Tracey was an excellent guide. I was hesitant with the price but shortly after our journey started I realised it was much better value than any other whale watch trips I’ve been on. Only 12 passengers and cold easily see the whales as we were so close to the water…yet we didn’t get sprayed with water while on the move. They even supplied jackets to anyone who wanted one. I can’t wait to go again.
