The boat was big enough that the ride was comfortable. There is an inside and an outside in case weather doesn’t cooperate. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered lots of information about the area and the animals without us asking - and they also asked several times if we had questions or needed anything. They guaranteed whales and we saw orcas in the first 15 minutes. It was amazing.

My husband and I had an unforgettable day on this tour, with a few successful whale sightings. The crew were all incredibly helpful and very willing to answer questions. The sights were breathtaking and the ocean is healing.

Our family (2 middle aged adults, 2 young adults, 1 teen) drove over from Seattle and had a fabulous time on our excursion. We spent time inside the boat, on top, on the bow, on both sides, and a bit of time on the stern (point is, everyone on board moved around to catch different views and experiences). Inside was great to get a break from the weather (it was cold, so sailing top speed was brisk - wear layers), but the views were best, of course, outside. We didn't see any humpbacks but were fortunate to see not 1 but 2 Orca hunts! The crew was fantastic, very personable, engaging, and knowledgeable. If able, highly recommend bringing binoculars and a DSLR or MILC with a telephoto lens. There are regulations about how close the boats can approach, so since were were watching hunts. we had to stay back. I have a top tier smart phone camera, and it couldn't do the scenario justice. I didn't bring my DSLR due to packing space and regretted not having it. Highly recommend this tour and the company!
