WHALE WATCHING WALKING TOURS - in Hermanus, South Africa - -
Whale Watching Walking Tours of Hermanus take you on a gentle walk along our very scenic paved walk-ways of the pretty coastal cliff tops for 2 to 3 hours, with our experienced Whale Watching Tour Guide who will take you to all the hidden coves and inlets that the Whales love to frolic in and due to the cliffs being vertical, means that the Whales can literally be only a few metres away from you.
A visit to our Whale museum will start the tour. (Entrance fee included in your tour fee).
The location schedule will take in 5 to 7 separate spots that are 2 to 4 kms apart so you will travel to each spot by luxury 7 seater kombi minibus (larger vehicles available) and then wander around each location. Tours are conducted at any time of the day that suits you.
MINIMUM group size is = 2 persons

What To Expect
The Whale House Museum
Whale Tour Guide with fun, jovial, entertaining and informative explanation of our local Whales, Dolphin, Sharks and Marine creatures (at the Whale Museum for 20mins, including huge life-size Whale skeleton and lots of informative displays presented to you) - - b4 the Whale Walking Tour starts - and - we will then visit various cliff-top spots for 2 to 3 hours watching the amazing Whales, various marine creatures and incredible coastal scenery.

5.00While in Hermanus, my husband and I did 2 tours (Whale Watching Walking Tours (Land Based) with Dave De Beer. Our tours were so informative and amazing - we loved it. Dave has so much knowledge about whales and Hermanus and his passion for whales is well demonstrated when doing tours with his clients. Nikki, his wife and assistant, was also very excellent in our bookings and other information. We both highly doing a tour with Dave as you will not be disappointed. Highly Recommend.
Interesting tour just not many whales left!

4.00Enjoyed our tour of the whale museum with Percy & trying to see whales in the bay. We did manage to catch a glimpse of one but were really a couple of weeks too late to see lots of whales. Good experience though & Percy very informative.

5.00On our very short stay in Hermanus we were lucky to have Percy as our guide for the day, which he made very special: land whales watching, due to the wind we cannot go to the ocean, but it was not a disappointment at all as with his great knowledge and experience we saw quite a number of whales and could even spot the white baby whale!!! Next was the wineries which was also a great experience as Percy is also a great wine guide! And lats but not least you will enjoy his incredible sense of humor (be prepared to smile and laugh the whole day). Thank a lot for a very memorable day at Hermanus!

5.00The boat cruise for whale watching was very professionally organised. Good briefings at the start of the trip. The boat crew spent lot of time explaining what we were watching and answered questions. Staff took efforts to ensure we got the best viewing
