All participants must be in a good physical condition. We took part in many excursion in Guanacaste and this was one of the best. After about 90minutes from the hotel, we arrived at the beginning of the rafting course and met our instructor Lalo. He was amazing! The rafting was excellent. We saw many animals which Lalo pointed out and experienced the rush of the rapids which ranged from slightly bumpy to a 12ft drop. We were proud that we were the only boat on our tour not to capsize but it wouldn’t have mattered if we did. At the end of the course we had drinks and snacks before taking our bus to the restaurant for lunch and very nice it was too. Our adventure was all captured by a photographer and we were able to purchase the photos for $40 which was well worth it. Highly recommend!

This white water rafting trip was amazing! The thrill of going down the rapids were awesome and I’d highly recommend to anybody going. The guides are great, especially Apple who was super nice and great during the tour. The lunch is very good and the pineapple and snacks they provide are refreshing. This is a great tour for anybody to do and one I’d highly recommend. Thanks Apple for the great time!

My wife and I are in our seventies and we were expecting a meander down a river with a few rapids and waves. What we got was the full works, rapids, sheer drops and large rocks to avoid. A twelve mile rush where we had to get up and down from the dingy side and paddle as and when I structured by our guide. We were absolutely soaked and my wife was thrown in twice but what a great day and the photos provided were well worth the $40. Make sure you are given crash helmets. Highly recommend.

We booked this trip as part of our honeymoon and had the most wonderful day!! Rafting was completely new to us but we felt well looked after. Our guide, Navid, had a great sense of humour which helped put us at ease and made the activity even more fun!! Lunch was great too!! Highly recommend!

Myself and husband did most of our trips with destination services. All of the experiences were once in a lifetime for us but the best by far was the white water rafting. We had our own destination services rep and we would personally like to say a huge thank you to Andrea for teaching us so much about the culture and being completely open with us about everything! You really helped to make our honeymoon an unforgettable one!
