With our high-end quality equipment and training, be assured you are in very capable hands. We will teach you paddling skills and show you how to negotiate your way down the river safely. With a few raft games and challenges along the way, this experience will not disappoint. Be ready to hold on tight as we bounce through the whitewater waves, surf holes, and maybe even introduce you to a raft flip or two, safely of course. You will have fun and thrills and with our guides at the helm, it can not be any other way, we'll see you there.

What To Expect
You'll meet us at our Bearded Men Adventures Hub, here we will provide all the equipment you'll need for your rafting adventure. This includes a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet. You'll then use our changing rooms to wriggle into your wetsuit and once everyone is ready we'll pile you onto our buses and take you to the top of the famous Horseshoe Falls to start your White Water Rafting extravaganza. Before we get on the water you will be given a full safety brief and instructions on how to paddle your raft down the epic rapids on the river Dee, do not worry you will not be on your own, your guide will stay in your raft for the duration of your trip. 5.00Awesome way to end our time in Wales with a three boat rafting experience down the river Dee with Bearded Men Adventures. Huge thanks to Sol, Mike, Harry, Danny and Jack for being our guides down the river, but also keeping the boat rivalry going the whole way down as well! Our group of 14 had a great time and would recommend this to anyone looking for a fun day out in north Wales!

5.00We went white water rafting in Llangollen and booked it through Bearded Men. Mike and Sol were our guides, and they truly made the experience unforgettable. They were great fun, had us laughing the entire time, and kept the energy high throughout the trip. They were also very attentive, regularly checking that we was okay, which made us feel safe and well looked after. Overall, it was a very professionally run experience, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone looking for both excitement and a good laugh.

5.00Had such a good time with Bearded Men’s Adventures again! Went canoeing over the Aqua Duck in Llangollen with them last year, so decided to book again and try rafting down the Dee into Llangollen — and honestly, it didn’t disappoint. The rafting was so much fun, definitely one of the best things I’ve done in a while. Harry, our instructor, was brilliant — really funny and made us feel completely safe the whole time. Everything was really well run and just had a great vibe from start to finish. Will 100% be booking another adventure with them soon!

5.00We've just come back from a romantic break in Llangollen. I had pre booked a white water rafting experience as a surprise for my wife's 40th. Mike and Sol couldn't have been better. From being friendly welcoming and funny. They explained all the safety instructions. The experience itself was epic. Mike was hilarious, stopping to play games (be warned he will trick you!!!) He told us what to do, when and where. Although I couldn't tell the difference between left and right. You feel in safe hands throughout the experience yet the adrenaline pumping. Amazing experience,thanks.

5.00We did a white water rafting session for mothers day with my partner and our 4 children, aged 15, 15, 11 and 9. It was absolutely brilliant, really good fun. It was the right mix of feeling safe and looked after but also a little bit terrifying. We will definitely re book another adventure and come again, Sol was hilarious and made us feel welcome and Dan kept us safe and secure on the boat, with some good fun along the way. Thanks Alex

5.00Three mature Liverpool ladies decided it was a good idea to try white water rafting for the first time… and honestly we had the time of our lives! 🌊😂 Massive shout-out to our guides Sol and Jack who were brilliant. Their instructions were super clear (which is exactly what you need when three women are screaming and paddling in completely different directions!). They made us feel totally safe but still gave us the full thrilling experience. The whole thing was organised perfectly and the atmosphere was great from the start. Plenty of laughs, a few screams, and a lot of “are we actually doing this?!” moments. We had an absolute ball and would 100% do it again. If three Liverpool ladies of a certain age can survive it and come out wanting another go, anyone can! 😄 Thanks again Sol and Jack — we’ll definitely be back.
