Daniel picked us up from the terminal and moved our luggage to the van with ease. He took us for a small tour around the small town of Whittier and told us of the history of the town. On the way to Anchorage he told us the history of the area, the long tunnel, the landmarks along the way. We made several photo stops before stopping at the Alaskan Native Heritage Center. Daniel escorted us inside, checked us in and asked what time we would prefer to be picked up. He said he would remain close by and if we needed anything prior to our agreed, pick up time to just text him and let him know. We thoroughly enjoyed the heritage center and were absolutely impressed with all of the things that we learned while walking the property we were approached by a young lady who worked there asking us to come inside because there was a bear siting on the property. Fortunately, Daniel was outside and able to catch a video of the bear that he shared with us. This was a great excursion so glad we did it and thoroughly enjoyed our time with Daniel.

This was the perfect transfer from our cruise ship to the airport. Despite delays in de-docking caused by a car accident near port, the team ensured they boarded everybody as soon as possible. Due to the delay, they dropped everyone off at the airport with earlier flights that didn’t have time to make it to the cultural center and then continued the excursion with the rest of us.
