My wife and I recently spent a couple of days rafting with Jack Trout on the upper Sacramento River. The rafting experience was great and the fishing was fun. So different to our lake fishing in Tasmania. Jack was great, the fishing was fun. Lots of beautiful fit rainbows. Staggering on the rocks in the Mcleod on day three was fun. Big fish in the pools but a bit beyond me! If you get to fish with Jack you should. Deer, squirrels and rainbows. People talk about the bears, we saw none! Must go back for more...
