What To Expect
Runde Fuglefjell - The Bird Island
Specific wildlife is not guaranteed and will change with the season. Puffins are in the area from april to beginning of August. This tour goes in a extreme environment (weather) and changes to the tour can be made for your safety.
The island is famous for its beautiful nature, dominated by the 497-metre (1,631 ft) tall mountain Storhornet.

4.00A day trip we wanted on a slow boat was not available that day (we wanted to watch and photograph birds), had just that one day available. The speedboat was the replacement, not so suitable for photography, but a different experience, we had seen the boats as a more sporty option for younger visitors, we were the oldest with 73 years on this tour, a bit limited mobility, but it was a nice experience, provided a low basic fitness. After all, we saw puffins and chumps, goal achieved, the surfing luckily in calm weather was the encore.

5.00Exhilarating way to see birds, seals, and a few of the islands near Ålesund especially on a hot summer day. Our guide shared interesting information about the wildlife and history of the area. Absolutely stunning water views of the islands and bird sanctuary. Very enjoyable and highly recommend!
