Christuskirche In Windhoek
The Christ Church (or Christuskirche) is a Lutheran church in centre of Windhoek, and has become one of the most iconic landmarks for the city. Here you will have the chance to learn about the fascinating history of this church, and time permitting, look inside.
Parliament Gardens
One of the most beautiful (and green) gardens in Windhoek lies at the base of the Tintenpalast, Namibia's Parliament Building in the city centre. 5.00In October 2025, we booked the Windhoek City Tour for our Namibia Trip in February 2026. The booking process via email was simple and without complications. The tour started on February 9th in 2026. We were picked at the hotel by our guide Raimund. Raimund was fantastic. He designed an interesting tour including all the sights of Windhoek, peppered with a wealth of knowledge and a great sense of humor. The visit to Katutura and its market was particulary impressive. Thanks to Raimund, this was the best start to our Namibian adventure. We will always remember this tour very fondly.

5.00The guide was prompt, knowledgeable, and gave us a comprehensive look at the city from Klein Windhoek to Windhoek Central Windhoek North to El Dorado to Katatura to Waterfront and many more neighborhoods. The highlights of the tour was the Penduka village and Single Quarters braai market.

5.00Excellent guide in Raymond. Lots of history while showing us the sites in central town, then a visit to the township with food tasting, that was delicious. Visits to craft market & Woman’s collective shop for high quality gifts. Enjoyable & informative few hours, with prompt pick up from hotel.

5.00I did this tour on my day of arrival and could not have asked for a better welcome to Namibia and Windhoek. Petrus did an amazing job as our guide, showing us the central spots of the city, linked to its exciting history. My highlights were the visit of the Penduka community project and a local market im Katatura, a unique experience!

5.00We booked this tour on a private basis. Our tour guide Petros was excellent, gave us all the time we wanted at each spot and also shared a lot of information about the city. Right from the pickup to the drop off, the tour was very professionally organised and interesting. Kapana at Katutura was one of the highlights of the tour. Loved it and the fat bread. Claire from Lark handled our bookings. She also helped us with transport and reservations for Naankuse Sanctuary as also with an airport drop off at the end of our holiday. The entire booking process was clear and hassle free. Thank you Claire and Petros for making our stay at Windhoek interesting.
