We are a family winery, where already the 6 generation is taking place. We are in organic conversion, with 25ha of vineyards and 7ha of olives trees. Beside the wine cellar we also have an oil mill where we produce organic extra virgin olive oil. From the wine cellar tower you can enyoj the spectacular views on the Slovenian Istria. Santomas is all about the history, ancestors and symbolism. Connecting one story from the vineyard to the bottle with strong philosophy that is present since 1997 that is now becoming a connection between modern and traditional. We work with the local varieties refosco and malvasia, and also international ones, like cabernet sauvignon, syrah and merlot. In the wine cellar we go with history of premium quality and modern technologies like lowing the sulphur, vegan, spontaneous fermentations etc.

Returning from Croatia, on the way to Italy, we enjoyed a stop that turned out to be much more than just a stopover: an unforgettable experience. We discovered this Slovenian winery almost by chance, but the choice turned out to be absolutely perfect. From the first moment we were greeted with warmth and professionalism by sommelier Natalia, a young woman of extraordinary competence and contagious sympathy, able to turn a tasting into a real sensory journey. His passion and his ability to tell the wines in simple but profound words made us feel not customers, but special guests, almost long-time friends. We tasted five wines: each with a distinct personality, from refined elegance to more decisive character. Every sip was a discovery, a world of scents and flavors that sticks with you. But it does not end there: the winery also produces oils of surprising quality, and the four we tasted were no less. True small masterpieces, intense and harmonious, capable of transporting the palate to a new dimension. A stop that has become a precious memory: excellent wines, extraordinary oils and an exceptional guide like Natalia. A stop that I recommend to anyone who loves good wine, good oil and, above all, people who know how to put heart and passion into what they do. (The Spanish Maria and the Italian boy)

We enjoyed our wine tasting and tour very much. Our guide Natalia was most attentive and friendly. She was working alone and even though it was very busy we always felt cared for. I can really recommend this winery, its a nice, welcoming ambience, good wine and definitely worth a visit if you're in the Region! Thank you so much for a nice afternoon

Amazing wine tour! She was very lovely and showed us around the vineyard and explained everything very clear. Afterwards we did a wine and olive oil tasting overlooking the beautiful vineyard, everything was so good.
