What To Expect

Meet your friendly winemaker and live a unique experience in Rhodes. Discover local grape varieties and visit the vineyard. Visit the vineyards, we thoroughly explain our viticulture and vinification methods as we visit each different stage of production. Once we have taken in the sun, we approach the outdoor bar to have an in-depth wine tasting while we discuss oenological methods we employ. Afterwards, we appeal to your appetite by doing a cooking lesson, where participation is optional but usually quite fun. At the end of the cooking part, you can sit down at our restaurant area overlooking the vineyards, where you are served a multi course tapas style meal. We call them "mezedes" and we feel they follow the theme of discovering Greek cuisine and giving plenty of opportunity to pair the different wines of our production. The menu is mostly vegetarian : Local bread, Greek salad, Tzatziki, Tirokafteri, Eggplant salad, and more. After your meal is completed, we invite you indoors where we stage our distillery, describe our distillation methods and finally give you a taste of our local pressed grape distillate "tsipouro" which works best as a digestive.

Very nice experience, led by Jason who told with a lot of knowledge about wine and wine growing. A lot of laughter and a lot of learning. Tasted great wines and delicious food. Super afternoon!

Jason was awesome! If I could do it again I would! He was very patient and informative! Very knowledgeable about wine! They give you a mountain of food to eat at the end. He also told a lot of jokes and made the class fun.

Had a lovely time, good information and a nice setting. Plenty of chilled water provided, alongside the wine. Fun,laid back cooking class and a filling, delicious greek tapas style meal. Thanks to Jason and team.

We had the best day at Jason’s family vineyard & winery, definitely the highlight of our holiday, so much so that we went back the next day! Jason was a great host with lots of useful information (along with a few laughs, too) & we felt involved the whole way through. The cooking class got everyone chatting, again with lots of hints & tips & the food was gorgeous, but the wine was the star of the show! We came away with two bottles which did not last long at all! Should we come back to Rhodes this excursion will be at the very top of my list. Thanks again Jason & congratulations on the job you’re doing!

We had a wonderful visit to the winery. Jason is the perfect host - very charismatic and hugely passionate & knowledgeable about his craft. The lunch was enormous and the wines delicious and plentiful! The cookery class was very basic but Jason made it enjoyable nonetheless. We were not rushed at all and were encouraged to enjoy the laid back charm of Vineyard Anastasia. We were very keen to bring some wines back with us & enjoyed them very much - especially their good value! We will visit again when next time in Rhodes & thoroughly recommend this visit - you won’t regret it!

We had a lovely time at the winery. Jason, the host, was great sharing his knowledge and answering all kinds of questions. They offered the best greek lunch we experienced during our week in Rhodes. Highly recommend to pay them a visit.
