We spent a fantastic day on the winter Combo Godafoss, Christmas house and Forest Lagoon. Our Guide picked us up from our hotel. Was polite, professional on time and friendly, not to mention extremely enthusiastic about Iceland. From beginning Inge put us at ease explained the tour, pointed out local attractions and told us about Akureyi. He looked after us and kept us safe and informed at all times. Nothing was too much bother. Godafoss was absolutely beautiful and we were allowed to spend time exploring and taking photos. The Christmas house was lovely staff friendly and a nice stopping point. The Forest Lagoon again perfect end to a perfect day. If you are coming to Akureyi, definitely book with this tour company you won't be disappointed

We were so lucky to be the only 2 on the trip and our guide Ingy made the day so special! We saw the most amazing places and he shared his knowledge and even stopped so we could meet some Icelandic horses!! Iceland is stunning and the history of the area is fascinating. Godafoss was so beautiful and magical. The Christmas house was fun and you must do the advent calender in the tower and lean about the naughty Yule lads. Forest lagoon was the perfect end to the day. 100% recommend this activity and I know we will be back to this stunning area 😍😍

My wife and I had a fantastic experience on this day trip. Our guide was very friendly and her knowledge of Akureyri and its history made it all the more enjoyable. We particularly loved the waterfalls as they were simply breathtaking. The Christmas house was very fun and it was nice to learn a bit about Icelandic customs for Christmas. The Forest Lagoon was also a wonderful experience to relax in the warm waters with the cold surroundings. I would absolutely recommend a tour with The Traveling Viking!

This was a great value for money trip. Our tour guide Lilja was amazing. She was very knowledgable friendly & helpful. We wanted to sit outside with our lunch at waterfall & she helped us clear snow off table & chairs. Thank you Lilja you helped make our trips more special.

The tour was varied, well paced and interesting. Excellent guide for the day, who shared many great stories. Unlike other trips this was about 5 hours and did not involve too much driving. Ending the day with a visit to the Forest Spa was an ideal wind down.

We had a great time, our guide ingi was a mine of knowledge of Iceland and its history. He was great with our kids and despite the temperamental weather etc we all enjoyed ourselves. We’d use The Travelling Viking again.

We had a great trip, the waterfall was wonderful, our guide & driver, was really knowledgeable and told us so much about Iceland and the history, we also stopped at a couple of other spots for photos. We also really enjoyed the lagoon. We also obviously picked a great day, as we were the only 2 people on the tour, the lagoon was pretty empty, and we managed to capture a rainbow in the water at Gosafoss. Would recommend this tour.
