YuMay was a wonderful guide, not only versed in the local cuisine. She kept our interest, even on the long walks between stops. The fjord cruise was a great ending to our evening of food and drinks.

We loved our guide Yu Mei on the tasting, she was full of great Oslo information, and took great care of us up until we left on the cruise. The tastings were great fun, the weather held for the cruise but it was rather crowded and cramped. Fun but a bit too long for me.

Our tour guide was amazing! And the food on the walking tour was delicious, which was good because the shrimp was a bit off putting if your not prepared to dissect the shrimp. Just so you know you have to pull the heads off, pull out the guts,de-shell them, and most of them had hundreds of little eggs. If you can handle that it is worth it because the boat ride is magnificent.

I went on this tour as a last minute substitute for the Taste of Oslo Walking Tour which at the time of notification had insufficient numbers. Although that situation changed the day before I was due to go, I decided to stick with the Food and Fjord Tour and I was not disappointed. Superb communications from Ivana throughout this process - she was also the guide for this tour and was excellent company. There were 7 people on the tour. We stopped at four places - a restaurant that served dried fish and whalemeat, a micro brewery to sample three beers, a pizzeria where we had two different toppings - smoked salmon and reindeer and a café restaurant where we had a typical Norwegian pastry. Then it was down to the harbour for a three hour Fjord cruise with an all you can eat shrimp buffet with bread and mayo. Ivana did not accompany us on this part of the tour. Some nice photos were subsequently sent to the participants by email. A thoroughly enjoyable evening (6 hours) that comes highly recommended.

We loved the personal feel of the walking tour. Our guide was an Oslo local who really brought the city to life in a way we hadn't yet experienced. The food and drinks were phenomenal at every stop (including the shrimp buffet on the boat.) The only recommendation I would make is to try to be a little early to the boat if you want a table seat. We ended up sitting in the middle of the boat because we took our time at the beer tasting stop, but we loved the brewery so much we went back for more after the boat ride! Highly recommend.

It was OK! Tour guide was very good, even though she was 30 minutes late. She made it up and took us on a food walking tour, a lot of walking but very different food to experience from fish to beer to pizza to sweets. The boat part was not what I expected, the boat was the Christiana and it was so overcrowded no where to sit. The shrimp was a challenge and the found the cruise part to be too long and not exciting at all. Was expecting more impressive sights.

What a day !!! all was perfect , the walking , the food , the beers were perfect size , bigger that what i expected and the boat was just as you see in the pictures . We manage to see the local areas in the city from the center to the student and trendy places . Then the contrast of other style of streets and a fantastic walk next to the river that i never imagine was so close from the main town . Some street art coulndt be missed and some histories behind every place . We even had access to a Norwegian Brewery located right inside of a local bar ! That was amazing .- Thank to our guide and thanks for a wonderful day and the EXTRASURPRISE!!!!!!!!!! 100 recommended ......
Tip : if you like to relax your days with some wine or spirits , don't forget to buy at the duty free . Prices in Oslo are pretty scary -

Great tour, we walk around some beautiful areas by the river. The beer tasting was a great experience and the lady provided a lot of information, she was great! We went also to taste some cheeses at the local market, delicious! In order to fully enjoy it I would recommend you to be prepared for a 6 hour tour and bringing a jacket since it gets a little cold after the sunset
Then we went to take the boat. The weather was great and we spent the rest of the evening on this sunset cruise with shrimp buffet along the fiords, looking at the different types of houses on the islands.

This tour was a great way to do both things. Local sides and Oslo Fjord. You get what you pay for and my friend and I enjoyed that the tour went on a good calm way. The beer at the local bar was very good and unique. The lady at that place was very friendly and explained us each single taste. After having some beer, we went on a food-hall, there we got to buy some local cheese and that was a goos experience. The food on the boat was a shrimp-buffet, it was very tasty and good although if you are allergic bring your own bread.
By the end of the tour we ended up with the boat tour wich was aweome because the weather was just lovely.
Thanks to the guide who was very informative and helped us with any questions/doubts we had.
