Discover Nara's must-see landmarks on the deluxe coach tour and try to make Matcha tea at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of matcha.

We will drive pass Fushimi Castle and Heijokyo Palace on the way to Nara. We will visit Todaiji Temple, a house of the Great Buddha of Nara and it is one of the world’s largest wooden buildings. Meet about 1,400 deer at Nara Park, you can even feed them rice crackers. Then we visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine where 3000 magical stone lanterns enlighten you. After lunch, we go to Uji area in Kyoto and try making Uji matcha tea! Spot the Byodo-in Phoenix Hall depicted on the back of the 10-yen coin at Uji.

Mai was an excellent tour guide with the best personality and she was very funny . She had drawings and maps that made it very easy to meet up and where . she was the part of the day trip tour for kyoto . my family has such a nice experience and i would highly recommend using this tour company again .

This trip was so well coordinated. We did so many activities - with a lot of variety. There was a good amount of free time built into every activity so you have time to enjoy and explore. The lunch was amazing and unique to the area (speaking as a vegetarian). The lunch venue was very beautiful with local dish-ware and a river view. There were many opportunities for yummy souvenirs also. The matcha experience with a matcha champion was so special and fun. Mai was a great tour guide - so friendly and funny. She was very easy to understand.

One of the best memories in Japan fir me. These places are so beautiful and this tour helped me appreciate every moment more. Our tour guide was Mai, she was excellent, a down to earth personality and she managed a big group with a lot of grace and passion. In each places she gave us an overview of the area and how to experience the place the best way. She told us about the history of the places we visited. The visits were un-rushed but maintained good steady speed so that we can visit the places in time. Mai also managed the tickets and skip the line admission to the places which was a bonus. Overall, I recommend everyone to go to Nara with this tour.

Mai was a wonderful tour guide. The food is more comprehensive than in other tours. We had 2 vegetarians and appreciated the effort. Nara deer are super cute but beware they get very aggressive once you have crackers! You can do a half day tour and be done by noon but honestly one of my favorite parts was the matcha experience where you hear from a family who has been making matcha in Uji for 18 generations. You also get to sample some matcha treats, then a lovely walk down by the river in Uji. Mai was amazing and explained everything well, she was very friendly and waited for us in a moment when we thought we were separated from the group and would have to pay our own entrance for a temple. She came to the rescue!

Great tour. Our tour guide, Mai, was amazing! We left from Kyoto visited few shrines and deers. Lunch was good - they were accommodating to our request for vegetarian meal.

The tour was very good and on time. Our tour guide Mai was very helpful and friendly. The lunch was Japanese style and good. But it was only in Nara and Uji we didn’t spend time in Kyoto.

Mai was a great tour guide who made things fun. We had a variety of activities and experiences today. The most memorable for me was probably the matcha experience but seeing the Nara deer and Todaiji Temple was otherworldly. I highly recommend this tour.
