Discover Nara's must-see landmarks on the deluxe coach tour and try to make Matcha tea at Uji in Kyoto, the birthplace of matcha.
We will drive pass Fushimi Castle and Heijokyo Palace on the way to Nara. We will visit Todaiji Temple, a house of the Great Buddha of Nara and it is one of the world’s largest wooden buildings. Meet about 1,400 deer at Nara Park, you can even feed them rice crackers. Then we visit Kasuga Taisha Shrine where 3000 magical stone lanterns enlighten you. After lunch, we go to Uji area in Kyoto and try making Uji matcha tea! Spot the Byodo-in Phoenix Hall depicted on the back of the 10-yen coin at Uji.

5.00Had a very good experience. Whatever was mentioned in the itinerary was done in detail. Even the food was taken care of very well, keeping in mind our likes and dislikes. Great shout out to our guide At-Chan 👏 she took us through all the points, answered all are queries and even took good pictures. A very caring guide with a big smile always on her face. Overall a great trip

From the moment we met her, she was warm, welcoming, and incredibly knowledgeable. She crafted a flawless itinerary through Nara and Uji, balancing history, culture, and fun in a way that felt effortless. Nara Nanami guided us through Nara’s most iconic spots with expert timing—avoiding crowds, showing us hidden corners, and sharing stories that brought the ancient city to life. Her explanations at Tōdai-ji and the Great Buddha were fascinating, and she helped us interact with the famous Nara deer safely and respectfully. It was the perfect combination of educational and memorable. Uji In Uji, Nanami introduced us to the area’s rich tea culture. She guided us through charming tea streets, shared the history of matcha, and led us to a beautiful traditional tea ceremony experience. With her explanations, we understood the meaning behind each movement and gesture, which made the ceremony feel incredibly special and authentic. Visiting Byōdō-in Temple afterward felt even more meaningful thanks to the context she provided.
