They will begin the tour with an explanation of the history of the Obersalzberg mountainside; an area that comprised a sprawling compound during the National Socialist regime, learning about why the mountainside was so decisive, and how and why it became so important to Hitler during the Nazi dictatorship. You will get lots of new information. Wear something warm even in the summer. Beautiful views if the weather is clear. We enjoyed lunch at the restaurant.
