Xi'an is the home to the world-renowned Terracotta Warriors and Horses, one of the most significant archaeological excavations of the 20th century. This full-day group tour with very good price offers you the opportunity to visit Terracotta Warriors and Horses Museum, the ancient City Wall and the Big Wild Goose Pagoda built in the Tang Dynasty for keeping Buddhist Sutra and figurines of the Buddha that Master Xuanzang brought back to China from ancient India.

This was the best tour we have had so far on our trip to China. The company is highly professional, organized and prepared. We were picked up right on time in a nice van with a great driver. Our guide, Sally, was incredible. Great English, highly knowledgeable about Chinese history and all the city sights, and very fun and friendly. We just loved her. The Terracotta Army is more amazing than you can imagine, and the site very well developed. Even the quick stop at the souvenir factory was fun, with no pressure to buy anything and a fun (and free) opportunity to take a picture of yourself as a warrior. Sally took us to an amazing place for lunch, and we were able to order anything we wanted (which we all shared at a lazy Susan table), as well as have a beer if we wanted. Best meal we’ve had in China, and a lovely setting. Huge amounts of delicious, authentic food. The trip to the City Wall was also wonderful, as well as the stop at the Big Goose Pagoda, where we were able to light some incense and say a little prayer (the shop there is fun for getting little Chinese zodiac souvenirs). Definitely a 5-star experience; I highly recommend this company, tour and guide.

enjoyed this day tour. Just make sure you have good shoes on. Entry at warriors to pit sites is some distance, for less abled i do believe wheelchair hire was available at a additional cost.

Our guide, William did a great private tour of Xian. We had opted for the One Day Xian Essence Tour. The Terra-cotta army was great and we went over many highlights like Muslim Street, Bell and Drum Tower , Old City Wall and Wild Goose Pagoda. The lunch was also very good. Overall a great experience of the city of Xian.
