Nelson, our tour guide was knowledgeable and experienced and he made the tour an amazing experience. We enjoyed learning about the cultural and historical aspects and also appreciated having a relaxed tour. We would absolutely do it again.

Abel was an amazing tour guide. He picked us up right on time, he shared a lot of interesting information about the history of Belize and the Mayans and customized the tour based on what we wanted to see (quick stop for ice cream/eat). We highly recommend booking a tour with Abel and his brother Luis. Thank you for beautiful memories. We also booked another tour with them tomorrow, because today was so great.

Wonderful trip that exceeded our expectations. The ruins were really nice. Climbing wasn’t too hard and great views from the top. The lunch was fine (don’t expect too much…). The cave tubing was really unique and more fun than we thought. Abel was a great tour guide and took excellent care of us. Definitely a fun day trip.

I’m surprised there aren’t more reviews. We had the best day with Nelson as our guide. He picked us up early at Fort George hotel (the ONLY nice hotel I’d recommend in Belize City) and we spent about 8 hours on a fantastic adventure. Nelson is personable, knowledgeable, and funny. He safely drove us to the ruins and pointed out all sorts of interesting things. After our awesome time there, we backtracked to the caves where we had a delicious included lunch before the cave portion. Super fun and a must do! Also felt great in the hot humid belizean weather. I’d wholeheartedly recommend this tour for your time in BC and definitely ask for Nelson!

Luis Portillo was great. His knowledge and communication skills helped us in so many ways. I was unsure of what would be be the best tour for us, but he patiently and quickly responded to every text answering my questions clearly. The next day after our tour, he purchased our ferry tickets for us and picked us up at our hotel (Golden Bay, I highly recommend) and took us to the dock. On days that he doesn't have a tour to lead, he uses his van for a taxi service. He also owns his own tubes and supplies for river tubing and can take large groups.
