What a great wine experience! We knew wines were very good, with a big sense of origin, but getting to know the terroir is something different. The way the cellar, grapes and different plots are presented, and the tasting itself (special thanks to the very knowledgeable Camila for her flexibility) gives you a perfect idea why the wines smell and taste the way they do. The wine tasting itself, after a funny hill climb on an old truck, is done in a beautiful setting in the middle of the vineyards. This is not Disneywine, this is a wine lover's must go place in Colchagua.

Camila gave us a very interesting and insightful tour of the vineyard and history of the winery. The setting is stunning, and Camila is a wonderful guide - we learned a lot about the process of winemaking and the wine industry in Chile from her. Highly recommend a visit to Polkura and the Yellow Stone tour!

Got a tip from an another winemaker to go to Polkura. Mailed them and made an appointment. What a great and beautiful place. The woman that gave the tour was very nice and we had a good conversation about the wines and how they are made at Polkura. She showed us the whole place and then we drove up to the hill to do a tasting. The wines are marvelous. And the spot on the hill was awesome. Definitely one of the better tastings I've ever had. Thanks Polkura!!!
