This was a great tour of Merapi! Easy and efficient pick-up from Yogyakarta. Great driver in clean car drove me safely to the basecamp from my hotel and then returned me after tour. Tour of Merapi was fantastic. Great friendly and knowledgeable guide. It was a fantastic trip and the cost was equal to the value for excellent transport and tour!!

The trip was really great. We were picked up by our dear driver Yuni directly at the hotel and felt dirwkt wohk. Due to the clouds we could not see the Merapi, but the trip was still worth it.

It was a great activity that was a lot of fun. We were picked up on time and our driver was extremely friendly, spoke very good English and provided us with a lot of information about the volcanic activities. Afterwards we changed to the jeep and enjoyed the booked tour. An all-round successful experience – high recommendation!

While a little disappointing that we chose to go during a rainy day so there was little to see, the tour guide and driver (Yos) was incredibly friendly and accommodating. The river jeep activity is definitely a fun experience (if you enjoy getting a little (very) wet)

We had an amazing and unforgettable time exploring Mount Merapi by jeep. Although the weather was rainy and not as sunny as we had expected, our tour guide still delivered an excellent experience for me and my friend, making the trip truly incredible. Unfortunately, we couldn’t see Mount Merapi because of the clouds, but we absolutely loved the jeep ride through the river, it was definitely the highlight of our trip. All the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I even lost my hat during the ride, and they went out of their way to find it and arrange a taxi for delivery. I truly appreciate their outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend choosing this tour, you’re guaranteed to have a great experience!

Excellent driver Anya to take us from Yogya to the Jeep base - he played the best music I have heard on a car journey! Really good trip in the Jeep - the museum was very moving and impressive. Then the clouds cleared and we had a great view of Merapi. Excellent guide -Wim- was very friendly and informative. The area has some of the most laughable tourist nonsense I’ve seen (including mock Stonehenge) but that did not affect the volcano. Then another fine drive back by Anya in difficult traffic dropped just where we wanted to be.
