Yerevan
Welcome to Armenia! Once you arrive at Zvartnotc International Airport, you will be met by Feel Armenia team and transferred to the hotel.
Tsitsernakaberd
You will discover the Capital city of Armenia, Yerevan which has a 2801year-old history. Firstly, you will pay a visit to the Genocide Memorial Complex which is dedicated to the memory of the 1.5 million Armenians who perished in the first genocide of the 20th century.
Victory Park and Statue of Mother Armenia
Then you will take the way to Victory Park to see the statue of Mother Armenia. The statue is seen from almost all parts of the city and it seems Mother Armenia is guarding all Armenians. Mother Armenia is the female personification of Armenia that is always ready to protect its people. It symbolizes peace and strength at the same time. Our Yerevan is considered to be a ‘pink city’ and ‘the city of the Sun’. You will see the truth of these ideas while roaming in Victory Park and walking down the Cascade Complex which is a huge staircase and an open-air museum for Cafesjian Centre of the Art.
Megerian Carpet Armenia
Afterwards, visit Magerian Carpet Factory where you will see thousands of carpets. All different, and all unique. Then you will have a short drive to Gum Market. Getting there, you will savour the special flavours and colours of Armenian fruits, foods, etc.
Monastery Sevanavank
After breakfast, you will head to Lake Sevan which is the ‘blue-eyed queen’ of Armenian Highlands. The Lake is the freshest and the largest in the Caucasus. Going up the hill on the peninsula, you will have an incredibly beautiful view in front of you. The Sevan and the guardian mountain ranges, the endless sky and the exceptional blue. On the hill, you will visit Sevanavank, one of the unique monasteries in Armenia.
Kecharis Monastery
You will continue the way and come to the spa and ski town of Armenia, Tsaghkadzor. There you will take the ropeway and go up Mt Teghenis. In town, you will visit Kecharis Monastery.
The Monastery of Geghard
It is early morning and you are heading to one of the culturally rich villages of Armenia. The first stop will be at Geghard Monastery. The monastery dates back to the 13th century. It is hidden among the high stretching mountains. Down, by the monastery, are the sweet handmade amenities Armenian Grannies prepare with their great love and kindness.
Garni Temple
Then we head to Garni village. The only Hellenistic-style pagan temple stands in this village right at the edge of the cliff. The temple dates back to the 1st century.
