This tour can be done between the main Silk Road cities of Samarkand and Bukhara so you will explore off the beaten treks of Uzbekistan while traveling from one city to the other rather than just traveling long distances. Sayyod Yurt Camp is a good starting point for short and medium length hikes. It is also a great place to unwind if you have seen too many mosques and madrassas in the Silk Road cities.

Our stay at the yurt camp and the trekking tour on the way from Nurata to Bukhara was absolutely outstanding. Everything was perfectly organized – from the delicious meals to the warm hospitality. The camp itself was a real highlight: tidy, very clean, and even equipped with a swimming pool, which was a wonderful surprise after a day of hiking. The yurt accommodations were comfortable and authentic, offering a unique and cozy atmosphere. A big thank you goes to our guide Sardar, who made the experience unforgettable. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive to all our needs. The guided hike was well-paced and full of insights into the local landscape and culture. On top of that, we were taken to visit the beautiful Nurata springs and the scenic Lake Aydar on the way to our next stop Buchara. Another big plus was the seamless pick-up and drop-off directly from our hotel by an English-speaking driver, which made everything very easy and stress-free. Overall, this experience combined adventure, comfort, and cultural discovery in the best possible way. I can highly recommend this camp and trekking tour to anyone traveling through Uzbekistan!

Such a great experience! Most of the tourists sites in Uzbekistan are cities and having this little escape in the nature it was incredible! The yurts were great and toilettes were clean and practical (more then what we expected) The family is very welcoming and they taught us to play archery! Our guide in the mountain hike taught us many interesting thing about the culture and the views were amazing! Loved it !

Very professional tour company. Everything was efficient and well organised. Communication was fast and easy. Sayod Yurt camp was wonderful - the staff were friendly and the facilities were great. Dancing around the bonfire at night was great fun! The yurts are simple but comfortable. Don’t forget to look up at the starts at night - incredible! We also had another night at Touristic Camping at Hayat Village which was absolutely lovely.

Staying at Sayyod Yurt Camp was something truly different. I really enjoyed the evening around the fire, listening to local stories and watching the stars. The camp has a very calm atmosphere, and it felt far away from the busy city life. It was a short trip, but left me with great memories.

Our family had an amazing experience at Sayyod Yurt Camp during our trip to Uzbekistan. Coming from the United States, we were looking for something authentic, and this place exceeded our expectations. The yurts were comfortable, and the food was homemade and delicious. The hosts were incredibly warm and welcoming, making us feel right at home. What we loved most was the peaceful atmosphere – surrounded by beautiful mountains and fresh air, it was the perfect place to relax as a family. There were plenty of activities to enjoy, from short hikes to spending time with the animals around the camp. Our kids especially loved seeing the horses. It truly felt like a home away from home. We highly recommend Sayyod Yurt Camp to anyone looking for a family-friendly and authentic cultural experience in Uzbekistan.

We booked a two day mountain hiking and yurt stay, and loved every moment! We enjoyed the peaceful camp site with our wonderful yurt and refreshing pool. Food was delicious and made vegetarian upon request. The crew was responding to all our questions both prior to arrival and at the stay. The hike and guide was great and we loved the experience so much!

Out of the beaten path experience, it has been the highlight of my trip to Uzbekistan. Immerse in nature, everything has been perfect, the treks, the driver, the camping, the ladies cooking, the mountain guide and ultimately the Nuratau Travel team which accommodated all my requests. Big up to everyone !
