This full day tour brings you to three places, which are Zaanse Schans, Lego Village and Giethoorn.
In the morning, you would visit a Dutch cheese factory, a wooden shoe factory and enjoy a royal diamond demonstration at Zaanse Schans; After that we will travel Zaandam City Center to see the famous 'Lego' building, You will have free time here to take photos as many as possible, or just walk around in the 'Lego' Village. After that, you will travel to Giethoorn, you would discover the 'Green Venice' of Holland and enjoy one hour free boat cruise in Giethoorn.
This 10 hours experience gives you a relaxed, memorable and enjoyable tour with lots of beautiful photos.The tour offers free hotel pick-up service in Amsterdam. Bottled water, power bank, umbrella are provided during whole trip.

What To Expect
Zaanse Schans
You would expect to have following activities on our tour at Zaanse Schans. you would have a Dutch cheese factory tour, to understand how to make cheese in the traditional way. You could taste more than 30 different types of cheese here. After that, we will take you to a wooden shoe factory tour. You would watch a live demonstration of making wooden shoe by a traditional clog maker. After that you would have a private Royal Amsterdam Diamond tour, to know the history of diamond, and enjoy the diamond with 268 cuts. Of course you would have your own free time to get close to the windmills and take photos.
Catharina Hoeve Cheese Farm
This attraction is the first stop at Zaanse Schans. As described above, you would experience this old cheese farm/factory, to have a private tour of how to make traditional dutch cheese, get to know the history of this cheese farm, and cheese tasting with more than 30 different flavors.

5.00Great experience and great value for money! Highly recommend this small group tour as it’s much more comfortable. It was easy and fast loading on/off at each stop and easier to communicate with guide. Our tour guide Erik was outstanding. He was hardworking, prompt and efficient, eg…already waiting for us at meeting point before appointed time. His informative and entertaining narrations kept us amused and engaged through out the whole 9 hour trip. All instructions, options and helpful hints were clearly provided so we’re confident we won’t get lost or left behind. It was not rushed and we had plenty of time to explore each spot. The one hour boat cruise was magical on this beautiful sunny day. We’ve taken a lot of tours in many different countries and have to say Erik is in our top 5% of best tour guides. I recommend this tour for anyone who wants an easier, less crowded and more personalized experience. P.S. booking through the Klook app was easy peasy.

The itinerary was well-paced, giving us enough time to explore both destinations without feeling rushed. From the iconic windmills at Zaanse Schans to the peaceful canals of Giethoorn, every moment was memorable. A special shoutout to our tour guide, Leidse, who made the experience even better. He was incredibly friendly, approachable, and knowledgeable. He shared interesting insights throughout the journey and was always attentive to everyone in the group, making sure we were comfortable and enjoying ourselves. Overall, this tour was very well organized and enjoyable. I would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the Netherlands, especially if you’re lucky enough to have Leidse as your guide!

5.00This was an amazing day trip outside Amsterdam seeing the beautiful countryside, getting do do a great cheese tasting, see windmills lovely boat ride on the canals. Reinier was a fabulous guide entering, full of interesting facts and very enjoyable company for the day. I would highly recommend getting out of Amsterdam for the day doing this tour. We had rain off and on but it was still great

I had actually booked a slightly different experience with the tour company, but not enough others had signed up for that one, so the company contacted me in advance to give me the option of taking this tour or receiving a refund. I am so glad I went on this tour! The pick-up and drop-off at my hotel were super easy. Our guide, Leidse, was very informative and entertaining and he took extra great care of our entire group (including carrying people's shopping bags!). He pointed out great options on what to do during our free time in both Zaanse Schans and Geithoorn, and he even gave everyone on the tour the option to steer the tour boat while we were in Geithoorn. *I definitely recommend going when it is not the peak season because Leidse showed us a photo of how crowded the canals can get during the summer and it was insane! Even though I was traveling alone, I was made to feel like part of the group, and I was sad when our time together was over. As a travel advisor, I will definitely be recommending this tour to any future clients who may be interested in visiting the Netherlands!
