What a lovely 2 hours with Andrija! He walked us around the city and gave us the historical facts plus added in personal stories from his family-oh what a lovely time! We had cheese and brandy and he told us of the restaurant we are going to for our 30th anniversary!! The ice cream recommendation was great also! Thank you Andrija for a memorable day in beautiful Zadar!

We really enjoyed this tour in Zadar! Our guide Tonka was lively, curious, and knew how to explain history in a way that kept us interested. It covered not only communism and World War II, but also the Italian, Austro-Hungarian, Turkish, German and French occupations, the Yugoslav Kingdom, Communist Yugoslavia and Tito. We walked through important places in the city, asked all our questions, and finished with a taste of a national drink. A great mix of history, stories and atmosphere!

It was very useful to visit Zadar with the guide, I could appreciate the historical side of the city. The VAT guide was very good. Definitely a way to get to know the city in a more complete way. Recommended

Tonka had a great sense of humor and really bought the long history of the city to life. She told us just enough about the history of Zadar for us to understand without overloading us and signposted us to where to find out more. Really love the ice cream recommendation and that the tour finished just before sunset. Thanks!

Our guide, Tonka, was absolutely amazing. She held the entire tour herself and did an outstanding job. She was incredibly knowledgeable, engaging, and full of energy. She answered all our questions with genuine enthusiasm and gave us some great local tips – like jumping into the sea near the Sea Organ at sunset! She also recommended some fantastic places to eat and introduced us to one of the best alcoholic drinks we've ever had. Tonka truly made the experience unforgettable. If you’re in Zadar, don’t miss this tour – and if you’re lucky enough to have Tonka as your guide, you’re in for something special!
