We combined a visit to the Spice Farm with a walking tour around Stone Town. Pick-up from our hotel was on time and the transfer to the Spice Farm was comfortable and efficient. We met our guide for the day, Osman (please excuse spelling) who took us around the farm which is like a cross between a cultivated forest and a botanical garden showing us all the spices and explaining their uses - cloves, wild ginger, turmeric, cardamom, nutmeg, black pepper, cinnamon and a good half dozen at least more. We had a rest with the guys who look after the farm and some fresh fruit then we went and had a delicious Swahili lunch - really good quality and loads of choices We transferred to Stone Town and took a walk with Osman around the main sights, again he took his time, told us loads about the city and really brought the place alive. We especially liked the fish, meat and vegetable markets - a close up look into real local life. All in all a really worthwhile day and great value for money.

it was great experience , the driver abdulrahman and the guide Othman ,both were very good , polite and prodessional. we learned alot about spices , we bought spices directly from the farm. The lunch experience was amazing ...100% recommended trip.

Amazing tour again with coastline. Went to a beautiful spice farm, felt like a private tour. Mohammed our guide was fantastic and really knowledgeable and the fresh fruit at the end was exceptional. We included a tour and lunch at the Rock restaurant. The we so accommodating at helping us arrange our own tour for what we wanted and reasonable prices. Would recommend coastline and the whole team. Fantastic
