Burg Hohenwerfen
Meet your professional local guide and driver at your Salzburg hotel and hop on board of your luxury minivan. 5.00This was the second tour of our trip to Austria that we were lucky enough to have Manfred as our guide. We were picked up from our hotel and Manfred was as friendly and enthusiastic as he had been on the previous tour a couple of days earlier. On our way to Werfen he took us off the beaten track to a beautiful waterfall and supplied us with so much interesting and useful information en route. We then stopped at Werfen to view the place where the song Do-Re-Mi was sung in the Sound of Music (A beautiful view even if you aren't a fan of the film - we had been on The Sound of Music Tour the previous day but this wasn't included). Manfred then took us to view the hotel where the real Von Trapp family spent their holidays and into the village of Werfen. On our way to Zell am See he stopped at a spot high above the town for us to take photos of the incredible views and then up to a beautiful little chapel for more photos. On arriving in Zell am See we had a couple of hours on our own to view the lake, take a walk around the pedestrianised part of the town and to have some lunch. Manfred gave us the option of spending a little longer in Zell am See or heading back to Salzburg to visit the Red Bull hangar. We chose to go to Red Bull which was very interesting and very much worth a visit. This tour was fantastic and Manfred made it so interesting and enjoyable. Highly recommended.

5.00The view was amazing and I think we have the best time of the year for the trip. At beginning of the October colors of the trees were amazing. I stayed two days in Salzburg Austria at Hous am Moss, Cleanness of the place and relaxed atmosphere were amazing. Helpful owners even arrange an early breakfast so we could catch the plane from Munich. Thank you

5.00The Zell am See trip was a wonderful tour that took us to places off the tourist beaten path. The tour was absolutely wonderful and we couldn't have asked for a better day to do it. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone wanting to get out and see Austria.
