Truly wonderful day at Mosi-au-tunya! Glad that I visited both sides, Zimbabwe and Zambia -- appreciated the different perspectives.

The experience was great. The tour guide on Zambian side Delphister was a good narrator n very detailed guide but the Zimbabwe side was a disaster, Shelton kept on getting lost. We had to guide each other in and out of the park at some point. I think he needs a bit more training.

It was a great experience from pick up to drop off to the hotel. Very professional, friendly and knowledgeable guides: Langa on Zimbabwe side and Delphister on the Zambia side: they were really amazing. I strongly recommend Cuckoo Safaris for your experiences in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Drivers were professionals and cars were also comfortable.

We had two guides, one for the visit to the Waterfalls on the Zimbabwe side (his name was Shelton) and one for the visit to the Waterfalls on the Zambia side (her name was Delphister). Both were excellent guides, polite, attentive, worried that we had a good experience, explaining various things about the waterfalls and the place. It is necessary rain cover if you do not like to get wet, because there is a part of Zimbabwe side that rains all year round. I used to wear a raincoat, but I took mine. We went in early November, which is considered a month of the dry season, then had only 30% of the volume of water. So, we could look at the rocks behind the waterfalls that form in the full season, the river that runs beneath the waterfalls and various rainbows. It was a very cool ride. The passage to the country of Zambia was greatly facilitated by our guide Del, because I think if we were alone it would be very difficult to make this passage.

In September 2025, we travel to Livingstone to tour the beautiful Victorian Falls, in Zimbabwe and Zambia. Such a great choice!! We were picked up from our hotel and driven to the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park - Zimbabwe side where we were greeted by Prudence. What a delightful, intelligent person with vast knowledge of the Falls. She escorted us through each of the fall site views -18 stops. Each one its own unique characteristics. Prudence explained the history or the falls, the vegetation and animals we came in contact with…Baboons were plentiful and playful. Once finished we stopped and had drinks at the little café. Here, Prudence, chatted to us about life in Zimbabwe, wanted to be in travel industry and heading up a Safari Resort someday. On the Zamia side, Mike was our tour guide. Equally fun and interesting with his side of the falls. Unfortunately for Mike, we were running out of energy and fighting the heat. But that side is truly worth your time because you see the waterfalls cascade down in completely different way. And the Knifes Edge Bridge is one not to miss! Thank you, Mike, for your insight and understanding. What a wonderful day!!

We had a fantastic experience with Cuckoo Safari on the Victoria Falls tour from both the Zimbabwe and Zambia sides. It ended up being just the two of us, so it felt like a private tour. The Zimbabwe side was absolutely spectacular in the dry season with incredible visibility — you really can’t appreciate the scale and power of the falls until you’re standing there in person. The Zambia side was much drier at this time of year, but still worth visiting for a different perspective. It must be incredible to see when the water is in full flow. The border crossing was seamless, thanks to our guides Shelton (Zimbabwe) and Delphister (Zambia). Both were very knowledgeable, friendly, and even helped take amazing photos for us. If you’re planning a visit, I’d definitely recommend the sunrise tour to beat the heat and the crowds. Overall, highly recommend this tour and the team at Cuckoo Safari!

We explored Victoria Falls yesterday with Thuba - and what a wonderful experience! It took us 3 hours to do the walk at our pace (we are in our 60’s and husband has a bad knee). Thuba was patient and as we walked he not only talked about the falls but wildlife and birds and pointed out animals and birdlife to us as we walked. Great young man, very polite, interested, great photographer for us and outstanding guide - highly recommend

It is a must before leaving the planet. Should be in every person's bucketlist of places to be visited. Shelton the guide in Zimbabwe and Deofista in Zambia were unbelievably kind and made us feel very comfortable and secure.
