• Disappointing Tour

  I expected much more from this tour. The first two stops on Padar Island and the pink beach were very good but the one in Komodo National Park was disappointing. The park is abandoned, sloppy, full of trash everywhere, we were only 40 minutes because they take you straight to take your picture with the dragon that was with a hurt paw which suggests that it was put there on purpose. You can't trek or tour the park. I expected much more to be a wonder of the world. Then 3 snorkel stops were made to always see the same without access to any beach. Expensive tour and not worth it.

  Squeeze the Guide. Regular attitude in which he touched us. Ungainly. Hot and sometimes frustrating. Do only if there is interest in seeing the animal

  It was a relatively seamless experience. Flew from Bali to Labuan Bajo. Pick up from hotel was timely and smooth. Boat road was fine. Adequate time at each island. Crystal clear waters. Komodo dragons were very active. Tour guide got me back to airport in time to catch flight back to Bali. I'd recommend it!

  I wanted to see them once, the Komodo dragon and I did indeed see them and 3 near the starting point of the hiking route and near the village under the 'kitchen'-hut there were 3 waiting for food... they could get bigger said the ranger who was on the road with us on the longest hike we had chosen. that trip unfortunately also ran over some slopes / mountains and we wondered if there were any dragons here because that's what we came for! no was the answer, they are all down in the woods... geez what are we doing here on top of that slope plodding for an hour in that heat? there is a nice viewpoint for photos on top is than the answer... so in total we saw 6 dragons including 2 small ones. on return a cruise ship emptied and the island was overwhelmed by about 3000-3500 cruise guests... away from here... nice to have seen but way too commercial!

  In the morning, we were forced to climb a steep island mountain after 05:00 from our hotel and dived into the sea on a snorkel to explore Komodo Island. It was a rather hard half-day trip, but I saved my energy and enjoyed it.

  Stay away from this company. They arrived 40 min late and after bringing us to some random place informed us that whether is bad and we can't go to the places in the list, then offered for 50% refund for half day to other destination, we agreed and when we came back the agency and tour provider refused to give us the refund, not enough the agent was cynical and rude answering our messages and told us we can complaint to trip advisor and stopped answering Find some other tour instead of those frauds

  The 1 Day Komodo Island Tour with Tours to Komodo was by far the best experience throughout 2019. With a great crew headed by the fantastic guide Aldi we saw everything plus some extras. The best was when we snorkelled with Manta Rays <3 Thank U so much - U know I will contact you when we come next time.

  I would definitely recommend doing this tour. Speedboat means you spend minimal time getting from A to B and more time at each location. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Lunch and snacks were simple and good. Make sure you bring shoes for hiking, towel, cash for entrance fees. Snorkelling at Pink Beach were the highlight. It’s a little more expensive than other tours out there.

  I booked this tour through Hotels.com which ended up being booked through a travel agency called BeFree. Based off the information here and the info available on Hotels.com, my understanding was that this would be a small group tour. When we arrived at the dock after waiting outside our hotel for 40 min for the pickup shuttle, I assumed that, based on the number of people, we would be divided up into groups. However, we were all boarded onto a very large speedboat, where none but the tallest people could even see out the windows. While the boat was not full to capacity, it still felt very cramped. The stops on the tour were also made difficult by the size of the group, particularly Komodo Island, as we didn't get to hear anything the guides were saying. Further, it just felt like we spent a lot of time just waiting in line to get on and off the boat. Also, BeFree (booking agency) did not communicate our needs for a vegetarian lunch, which was very frustrating and while not the fault of the crew, they were pretty unconcerned with what came across as a very common occurrence. Overall the tour stops were nice places, but some more for photo opportunities than anything else. If snorkeling is your prime objective, I would not book this tour. Labuan Bajo is full of places you can book boats and tours. I would suggest waiting until you arrive so you can get clear information about the size of the group and the type of boat you will be on.
