• Segue via Segway into the River Valley

  Very fun experience exploring parts of the River Vally that I would not have otherwise gone to: the Chinese Garden, the Ukrainian stage, the Trans Canada Trail map, the poems on the path and the indigenous art on the ceiling of the Tawatina bridge. The Segway was easy to master: the guide gave excellent instructions & practise opportunities.. A fab unique way to experience a small part of this beautiful park, the largest urban park in N America within city limits. . Also the N American Rock climbing competition was on beside the centre, adding to the excitement.

  Great tour guide! Definitely will do again Make sure you wear gloves as your hands can get cold! Also get early so you can park in the free zone

  This was a surprise birthday event for a friend in February. Her combined love of the river valley and unique modes of transport made this super special. It had rained the night before and Doug was out early to check on our trail. He made sure we were aware of the danger and trained us to get off our Segways and walk with them if necessary, and it was! The scenery was amazing on a sunny February afternoon. I’m native of Edmonton but it was a refreshing and different point of view to look at our city and river valley. I felt our trip ended too soon, but we are all stoked to do it again come summer! Can’t wait, you need to check it out 😃

  Chris was a cool guide. After a short introduction, it started already. Our group consisted of 4 guests. We drove along the banks of the Saskatchewan over the snowy paths. Ice wasn't a problem either. We always felt safe and had a lot of fun.

  This was an absolutely fabulous experience. Our instructor Chris made me feel very comfortable and secure and knowledgeable during the instructional part and then led us on a beautiful tour by the river. He would stop and give us history lessons about the area which was greatly appreciated. He took lots of pictures of us and made the whole experience perfect.

  My husband and I were the only ones attending so it felt like a private tour. Ben was an excellent instructor; knowledgeable and funny. We have lived in Edmonton over 20 years but have a renewed appreciation for this beautiful city and river valley! Thanks to the office staff who took our calls and accommodated us when we had to change the dates of our tour. The staff member we spoke with was gracious & helpful. It was an all around positive experience. Thank-you River Valley Adventures- we will spread the word! Kim & Colleen

  Very fun experience, although very chilly in the winter. Chance was a great guide. He showed us lots of interesting spots and was always concerned about safety. Doing the 90 min vs the 60 min trip allows you to ride the Segway’s much more. The later part is more riding and less talking. The Segway’s were fun and easy to learn. We enjoyed talking with Chance after the tour too!!

  It's super fun to try a new means of electric transportation. The only point that disappointed us was the fact that the journey was relatively short. We were thinking of walking along the river, but in the end we zig zags around the shop.

  Great fun couple of hours. It was very cold and snowy but our guide, Chloe made sure we felt confident and safe as we were first time segwayers. We went along the river valley trail, which was beautiful and Chloe made the whole trip enjoyable and informative. We enjoyed it so much we extended our tour. The cafe was very welcome for hot drinks and snacks at the end of the trip. We would definitely recommend this tour

  We went at 6 pm tour and were fortunate to be the only ones on the tour which made it more fun and quicker to start tour. Our guide was very patient and made sure we were comfortable and safe. Segways are so much fun!!!!
