  Truly a once in a lifetime experience! Made all the more special by Bosco, our friend and guide on the trip. Everything from the beautiful drive up to the mountains to sorting out our permits at the park gate to getting us a really fun group to do the trek with and see the famed Susa Gorilla family, Bosco silently pulled the strings.   Expectations were exceeded! Tour guides are so well prepared to share safety instructions and Gorillas info, my tour guide/driver, John, he provided me with some background of the Gorillas and had a good talk during the trip, he was so nice and friendly and as well provided some suggestions and tips to keep spending a good time in Rwanda.

  My guide, John, was amazing. I am a female traveling solo, and everything felt safe and organized. He was knowledgeable about the area, the park’s operations, and the local culture. The entire process was seamless. John picked me up at my hotel in Kigali at around 4:30 a.m. We arrived at the park about two hours later. The tracking started early in the morning after a brief check-in process. (there's free coffee offered by Question Coffee!) The weather in the rainforest can be a little unpredictable, so make sure you bring waterproof clothing (or a full-body poncho) and a good pair of hiking shoes that provide enough traction for the landscape. It’s not like the designated trails I’m used to seeing, and the sudden rain didn’t make the walk any easier. But in the end, it’s so worth it - seeing silverback gorillas in their wild habitat.

  What an amazing experience with the gorillas! Our guide and driver John was pleasant, knowlegable, helpful and a safe driver. The vehicle was clean, in good condition and perfect for the rough terrain. I can higly recommend Unique Africa Ventures. Very professional. All we had to do was enjoy the experience. They looked after the rest. Remko

  I and my wife booked gorilla tracking tour with Unique Africa, our ranger guide Christophe was amusing with sharing enough informations and thank you John for a safe driving and extra gorilla guardians experience. Was really awesome!

  The entire experience was great - from the moment I contacted Unique Africa Ventures by whatsapp to schedule my trip, to the very last minute when they dropped me off at the airport. Amazing staff and all very well planned!! The gorillas trek was absolutelly amazing and unforgettable!! It was worth every cent paid!!
