5.00We were delighted to have a second day w Radmyla and really I think with limited things to do and see in this port, the private tour was WAY better than anything else one might do. It allowed us to get a great feel for the city and surrounding islands (which we visited by tunnel and bridge). We stayed ahead of the large groups or away completely which was great.

5.00We were fortunate to have Radmyla as our guide 2 days in a row. Since this was day 2 it felt like getting together with a new old friend. She knows the history of the town inside out (she lives there) and she intertwined her stories of the town with drives to many great points of interest. We were on the move all day and got to see so much more than any large tour group. Alesund is a fascinating town with a poignant past and a great story of rebirth. I recommend this tour highly.

5.00Ålesund is a charming town. Very easy to stroll from the cruise ship terminal with picturesque colorful buildings and a lovely petite harbor wharf. Many picture-worthy settings and patio cafes. We preferred just wandering and enjoying the scenic benches. Drinks and pizzas at Anno were very good.
