  This tour was absolutely packed with things to see from start to finish. It involved a fair bit of walking (which we enjoy), some public transport, lunch, and a long list of sightseeing. We struck gold with our tour guide Zoltan. We were the only two on his tour, and his breadth of knowledge and evident love of both his job and of Budapest, made for a fascinating day that flew by very quickly. As we had already covered one or two sights on a tour the previous day, Zoltan suggested that he adapt our plans to spend more time on other areas, which was greatly appreciated. We stopped for lunch at a lovely restaurant (included in the tour cost), which serves traditional Hungarian cuisine and had a delicious vegetarian option for me. The tall glass of Hungarian beer was also very welcome! I can’t recommend this tour highly enough. It’s a long day (approximately 9-4), but is ideal for those only visiting for a short time or with an otherwise busy itinerary.

  The tour was excellent and fact filled. We thoroughly enjoyed Ferenc. He had a wealth of knowledge of the history of Hungary . Would highly recommend!

  This tour was amazing! Our guide Ferenc customized the tour for us to add somethings that we requested and avoid places we had been. He was knowledgeable, interesting and genuinely cared about whether we were enjoying the tour. Lunch was delicious.   Excellent walking tour of Budapest. Ferenc is quite knowledgeable in Hungarian history which he shared with us all along. Lunch was delicious and had an opportunity to taste Hungarian cuisine. Altogether it was a fantastic experience.

  We had absolutely great time with Ferenc while walking through streets of Budapest. Ferenc has in-depth knowledge about Hungarian city. He kept us comfortable all along and had organised the program which suited us the best. The lunch is sumptuous and delicious. If opportunity given, we would be happy to do another tour with Ferenc.

  This was a great experience! I'll start with a shout out to our tour guide Rebecca who was simply amazing, super knowledgeable, and with a great sense of humor. She knows her history and architecture! We really lucked out as we were the only two on the day tour we had booked, so we pretty much had her all to ourselves and she was totally up for conversation and all of our questions. Lunch at a local restaurant was included and it was outstanding! One thing to note, this is a full day 7 hour walking tour. The terrain is not difficult and you'll cover just about everything but I'll be honest, it's a long day!

  The guide went out of his way to show me all the things I was interested in seeing. He even stayed with me and helped me in a shop with my mobile phone in a shop after the tour. He spent an hour or two with me after the tour time was up

  Our tour guide Fanny was excellent and took us all over town. By the time we finished we had a great foundation on the entire country of Hungary and Budapest. This tour is highly recommended for those that can handle a significant amount of walking.

  This tour was one of the best tours to see Budapest. Fanni, our tour guide was exceptional in all ways. Extremely knowledge and well educated about the city’s history. This was an all day walking tour which took us to both sides of the river covering all the important neighborhoods, monuments and castles. Fanni’s English is impeccable and she was able to answer all of our questions using historical maps etc. on her iPad to demonstrate the historical significance of each location. She was polite, friendly and personable. I would highly recommend requesting Fanni as your tour guide to explore the beautiful Budapest.
