  Prior to our trip Dipak was quick to respond to our emails and answered all tour questions satisfactorily. Dipak provided an itinerary that suited our needs and being older trekkers we really needed acclimatisation days built in to our journey to reduce altitude issues. Airport transfers were provided on arrival and departure, also help with a helicopter transfer to Lukla when the weather was bad and we couldn’t fly with the booked plane Our guide and porter met us in Lukla. Our Nepalese guide spoke good English, he was very patient, he carried my pack when I struggled up Renjo La pass, Hi key phrase was “ bistarai bistarai” slowly.

  I successfully completed the EBC trek in April 2026 with a group of eight friends. The trekking company provided excellent support and service throughout the journey, helping make our mission a success. They arranged lodging at tea houses, our hotel in Kathmandu, all helicopter and airplane flights, and porters to carry our duffel bags. They also optimized our itinerary so we could complete the trek in just 12 days. Our assistant guide, Sujan, went above and beyond during the climb to EBC. Since I was the slowest hiker in the group, he consistently stayed with me, guiding me along the trail and offering helpful advice on maintaining balance on difficult terrain, managing altitude sickness, and identifying the famous mountains along the route. Sujan truly made my trip memorable.   FT, who is a guide at Trekking Planner, was exceptional —truly embodying everything you could hope for in a trekking leader. His knowledge of the mountains, local culture, and trails was outstanding, and he shared it generously throughout the journey, making the experience both enriching, memorable, and just incredible fun. We laughed our way up passes, joyous and grateful for the beauty of the Everest region, looking at vistas you can't believe exist because they are just otherworldly in their beauty. What stood out most was how safe and well cared for he made us feel at all times. FT was constantly attentive, quietly ensuring we were comfortable, acclimatizing well, and enjoying the trek. His calm confidence and professionalism gave us complete peace of mind, even in challenging conditions. He knows the best places to stay, is flexible and listens to what you want, and in his own gentle way ensures you have the trip of your dreams. Seriously. Beyond his skills as a guide, FT is simply a wonderful human being. Kind, thoughtful, and genuinely warm, he went above and beyond in so many small ways. FT will be a friend and brother for life. I am so grateful I crossed paths with this special person. I wish him all the best - I am sure he will continue to rise as a guide due to his latent talent and good vibes. I couldn’t recommend FT more highly—he made the entire experience unforgettable.

  This is the second time I’ve used Trekking Planner and specifically, a Sherpa guide called FT (Furtenji) - and that says it all, doesn’t it!! My daughter and I planned to have Gokyo Lake as our destination but owing to our fitness included Renjo La pass for the descent. A great achievement for a 71 year old. Firstly Dipak is quietly working away in the Trekking Planner office in Thamel, connecting people, sorting out changes of schedule, being flexible to any changing needs. He always managed to find a flight to Lukla for us and when flights were grounded, pulled massive strings to get us on to our respective helicopters. It is really a good organisation to depend on. Equally, if not more importantly, was FT, a guide who will be your friend and companion through the long trek. He really is a top notch guide who knows every path and peak, bird and animal. He takes special care of you by being mindful of your capabilities, always being aware of how you’re feeling. FT tailor- made our ascents to minimise altitude sickness, by determining how fast to walk and when to stop for rests and when to do the extra acclimatisation treks. He remained flexible to our changing itinerary and always gave us good advice. He also encouraged a positive attitude and always made me feel capable of doing difficult things. He is very kind and caring, not only to his clients but also to the porter. During our trek we learned from him about Sherpa culture. He introduced us to a family that made us Sherpa potato pancakes and Sherpa tea.   At the end of December 2025, we had a wonderful Himalayan journey with Trekking Planner Nepal. From day one, their responsiveness, needs-oriented solutions, and thoughtful little surprises made it clear this was the right choice for a joyful and well-organized experience. Our guide, Gyaljen, and his assistant, Pasang, were excellent throughout the trek. We felt safe at all times. Their positive energy, calm guidance during challenging moments, and ability to manage the flow of the journey were truly impressive. As it was off-season, accommodations were managed dynamically, and the team genuinely tried to find the best available options. That said, a few stays fell below expectations. The fact that the team listens openly to feedback on accommodations shows how much they care about improving and how deeply they love their work. I will always remember the Himalayas for their powerful nature and beauty. When I feel ready, I will gladly return to explore even higher paths.

  

  

  

  

  

  

• Individual trek for a couple to EBC, Kala Patthar and Gokyo Ri

  We had a great and successful trek to the EBC and were also successful with Kala Patthar and Gokyo Ri. Dipak did a very good job answering all our questions prior to the trek and adapting the itinerary to our preferences. After our conversations we have also received Crampons given the heavy snowfall a few days before our start (thankfully as definitely needed). The trekking planner team tried to make our trek as comfortable as possible. Naturally everyone should still note that comfort levels in the currently existing teahouses can't be compared with hotels in urban areas - be prepared to use your sleeping bags from time to time as it gets cold at night if heating blankets do not work due to electricity problems (depends on solar power and teahouse policies). Dibash our guide, who has a 100% success rate for EBC and Ganesh as our porter were a great crew and a real asset for the trekking. Ganesh was always kind, professional and reliable. Dibash is a very experienced, calm and knowledgeable guide who frequently monitored us with an oxymeter and made sure we were in the right condition to take the next stage. Further he is well connected across teahouses and guides which helps to get the best treatment and comfort there is. Dipak and Dibash are also able to get short notice adaptations coordinated in case required Thank you and all the best to the team!

  I cannot speak highly enough of Dipak and his company. We are normally very independent travellers but he made things so easy that we surrendered our independence🤣. 100 percent trustworthy and reliable. Suggested things and facilitated when and where appropriate but without being pushy. Delivered exactly what was promised and more. Despite crappy weather we had a great trek with Dipu and Suman (superman) attempting the three passes. An experience we won't forget. Thoroughly recommend👍👍.
