  I went on the Crossing Thailand Tour with Big Bike Tours in February 2026. It took us 13 days to travel from Chiang Mai in the north to Phuket in the south. This was my second tour with BBT. Group and guides: The group was a nice, international mix. This meant that, in addition to the tour program, we also had a lot of fun in the evenings. With 13 bikes, the group was relatively large, but our guide led us with care. Our guide Pong and our mechanic in the support vehicle, Mr. Big, guided us through the tour every day with professionalism, passion, and joy. Bikes: The bikes were in good condition and were checked daily by our mechanic. Over the course of 2,500 km, there were no major technical defects in the entire group. Route: The route led from the mountains in the north through the plains in the center to the cliffs and beaches in the south. Fast sections alternated with picturesque country roads. Several stops were planned along each day's route to enjoy culture, views, coffee, and refreshments. On the two rest days in Hua Hin and Ao Nang, we all had the chance to relax or do something individually. Hotels, restaurants: The hotels along the route were well chosen, all with pools for cooling off and some in the south right by the sea. Lunch and dinner in selected restaurants was always appealing, sometimes exceptional. Impressions: 'Crossing Thailand' with Big Bike Tours was a professionally organized and guided tour lasting 13 days. My expectations were fully met and I would go on tour with BBT again anytime. This tour is more suited to reasonably experienced bikers. I can recommend BBT anytime to anyone who has already spent several days on a bike tour and is looking for a tour operator for a tour in Southeast Asia.

  Everything was in place and we had a great trip, pong our tour guide went above and beyond in ensuring we had a great time !   We did the 13 day tour from Chiang Mai to Phuket in January. The journey was a real all-round carefree package from start to finish. The guides Thorsten and Noha were really great and convinced with a lot of experience, humor and perfect organization. They were supported by the tour escort of mechanic Chai, who was always on hand and made sure of a safe feeling. The tour led to beautiful secluded sights and viewpoints, sometimes far away from mass tourism. Alternative routes to highways have made the driving experience varied and scenic. On the way and in the evening there were very good hotels and restaurants for lunch and dinner, so the enjoyment was not neglected. The very good and well-maintained motorcycles also helped to ensure that you could concentrate fully on the track. In addition to the perfect organization, I also met great people, which enriched the trip both humanly and scenically. I can only recommend “Big Bike Tours” (not to be confused with “Big Bike Touring”). Authentic, personal and with a real passion for motorcycling. Absolutely recommend!

  Are just back from this fantastic tour. As I wrote last time, I don't know any other organizers but they CAN'T do better. From the first contact to the last farewell evening, well organized. The tour guides Thorsten and Noah did a great job again and looked after us very well. The selection of routes incl. Alternate routes as well as the stops perfectly selected. Food and hotels great. Attention: A buddy of ours had accidentally chosen Big Bike Touring and was not as satisfied as we were for a long time, danger of confusion! We don’t want to know the new friends on this tour either and stay in touch with some. Finally, thanks again to the whole team, gladly again. Greetings, Lupo and the crasy Sauerländer

  We did the Crossing Thailand tour and it was great! Excellent organization, excellent hotels, motorcycles in perfect condition.   We enjoyed the entire trip. From the airport pickup to final night, all managed very professionally. Guides and back up first class. Saw amazing sites and experienced great riding, and Thai culture.

  This trip was a fantastic experience, the tour was led by Noah the business owner and was very well organised. The riding days included visits to interesting places, Burma Railway Museum, Bridge over the River Kwai, Tsunami Museum, various Thai Temples and coffee stops with fantastic views, which made the trip even more enjoyable. The quality of the bikes, food and hotels exceeded my expectations. Thanks to Noah and the team and the other riders on the trip. I'll be back to do one of the other trips. Mike
