  My wife and I were in Asia celebrating our anniversary, and visiting the Avatar Mountains was at the top of our bucket list. Based on the reviews, I chose this tour operator, and it turned out to be an excellent decision. They assigned Lilian as our tour guide, and wow—we were extremely happy and satisfied with her service. Lilian's knowledge, professionalism, and warm personality made our trip truly unforgettable. She was well-organized, attentive, and always happy to answer our questions. Her insights into the local culture and history added so much value to the experience. We originally booked Lilian for two days, but we enjoyed our time with her so much that we extended our tour for an additional day. She made every moment enjoyable and stress-free, and her enthusiasm for sharing the beauty of the area was contagious. Thanks to Lilian, our visit to the Avatar Mountains and the surrounding areas exceeded all of our expectations. She helped make our anniversary celebration even more special, and we couldn't have asked for a better guide. We highly recommend both this tour operator and Lilian to anyone planning a visit.   Our guide; Vicky made the entire experience seamless. She had a great instinct for timing—whenever the weather cleared, she’d take us to the best spots for incredible photos.   We did a 2 day tour with Wendy. We had such a great time! She was on time and very informative about the history. It was a huge plus she lived and grew up in the area. So we got to learn not only about the mountains but the way of life in this area. Definitely was worth it to have Wendy handle all the transportation. It looked very confusing and we saw a lot of western people struggle with the bus system so it was a huge plus to have someone that knew their way around so we didn't waste time figuring it out. Would definitely book Wendy again if we make it out to this beautiful area

  We had a great time thanks to Nina! She was amazing with making sure we were always comfortable/well feed and helping us navigate through all the sites so we could focus on the views instead of logistics. Seeing how crowded some of these places are going with a private tour kept our group small so we could move as fast or as slow as we wanted through the various attractions. She even recommended/arranged bonus activities on day 2 since we had extra time, stored our luggage for us and dropped us off at the airport for our late night flight.   We had a great experience on our 2-day private tour in Zhangjiajie with our guide Vicky. She was extremely helpful, friendly, and knowledgeable, and made the whole trip smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

  We spent 2 amazing days exploring Avatar Mountain and Mount Tianmen with our guide Jessie, and she was excellent throughout the trip. Her knowledge about the history, culture, and local stories made every stop more interesting and meaningful. Jessie also introduced us to great local food and helped us experience the real flavors of the area. She was friendly, patient, organized, and always made sure everyone was comfortable. Highly recommend Jessie for anyone visiting Zhangjiajie!

  Exploring where Avatar was filmed truly felt like stepping into another world majestic, surreal, and almost divine. I was genuinely amazed by how pristine and well maintained the park is; I had expected it wouldn’t quite live up to what we see on social media, but it absolutely exceeded expectations. Our guide, Hanna, made the entire experience seamless. She had a great instinct for timing—whenever the weather cleared, she’d take us to the best spots for incredible photos. As an added bonus, she was fantastic with the kids and gave us a little freedom. Thank you, Hanna and team.

  Cara was an amazing guide. We were so fortunate to be able to spend three days with her. Her English was clear and easy to understand. She reached out to us ahead of the trip to answer any questions and to make arrangements for our travels. As a local, she has so much invaluable information about the parks, the province, and life in China. It was so insightful and interesting to have additional context. We had so much fun on the trip. We had rain 2 out of 3 of the days but Cara was able to provide suggestions on how best to navigate the park. The agency had reserved VIP passes for some of the sections that had longer wait times. Cara helped us determine if it was worth using or whether we should save our money. In our off time, she gave us suggestions on places to eat, things to do, and made any additional arrangements required for our trip. It was an excellent experience. Thank you again, Cara!!!

• Fabulous Time in Zhangjiajie

  Zoe, our guide, was professional and very experienced. She helped us navigate through all the crowds and chose the best routes. She recommended a local restaurant for dinner which was amazing. She helped after the tour was over navigate the shops, hair salon and nail salons. Zoe is wonderful and I would highly recommend asking for her as your guide.
