  OMG, what an experience. I have never been on a helicopter and was pretty nervous, but it was smooth and easy. Nice short ride up to the glacier and then a nice little walk around on the glacier. Stunning views. This is not to be missed.

  Wear enclosed shoes and a warm jacket. Our pilot was very nice and answered our questions easily. The views of the glacier were amazing.

  Fantastic on a clear day! Well organized. Loved it! Helicopter could take 6 passengers, we had just 4 so heaps of room. Adrian, the pilot, was great.

  A good glacier intro. It’s a short flight with 10 minutes on the Glacier. If a full Glacier viewing is what your after, choose on of the longer trips.

  The flight is short, but it’s absolutely worth the money. Seeing the Franz Josef Glacier from the air gives you a proper sense of how big and powerful it really is — something you just don’t get from the ground. The glacier landing was unreal. Stepping onto untouched snow was a genuine highlight and made the whole experience feel special. The pilot was excellent — relaxed, informative, and pointed out the main features as we flew, plus took some great photos for us when we landed. If you’re worried about the cost, save money elsewhere. Pack your own breakfasts and lunches for a couple of days rather than paying for café food. This is the experience that’s worth spending on.
