  Did the tour in June and had a great time despite the rain we had every afternoon. My guide Apson was very good and helped me keep a good pace to make it to the top and back without issues. The via ferrata was a bit challenging as it was my first experience but the instructor was super helpful to keep us safe. The accommodation at pendant hut was clean and the staff very friendly and the food at the restaurant delicious! A challenging experience but altogether very rewarding and the borneo calling team made everything easier with the excellent organisation of the trip.

  Wonderful experience with an experienced guide showing us the way and taking care of us. The walk the torq was especially great as I was able to have the guide to myself and a 1 to 1 session definitely made the session much more enjoyable.

  The organisers of our Mount Kinabalu hike which is 'Borneo Calling' did an amazing job from start to finish. Everything was well-coordinated, making the experience smooth, safe, and enjoyable for everyone. From the transportation and accommodation arrangements to the guidance throughout the climb, their planning helped us focus on the journey itself without worrying about the details. A special mention goes to our guide, Peace, whose encouragement and positive energy motivated us during the toughest parts of the hike. He constantly checked on the group, kept everyone motivated, and made sure we were safe while still pushing us to believe in ourselves. His challenge — asking if we could make it to the top — became one of the most memorable parts of the experience because we proudly answered it with a big yes. The organisers created not just a hike, but an unforgettable adventure filled with support, teamwork, and accomplishment. Their professionalism and care made the entire experience even more meaningful, and I’m truly grateful for all their effort in making this journey possible.

  We had an enjoyable 4D3N trip with Borneo Calling. The itinerary was well planned, although the schedule was quite tight at times. We especially appreciated the free trip to Kundasang — it was a wonderful and beautiful place to visit. The Pendan Hut is well kept and clean. Our guide was very responsible, friendly, and helpful throughout the journey, which made the experience even better. Thank you for the memorable trip!

It’s great experiences for trekking Mount Kinabalu Summit and the view is stunning. TQ Driver, Abang Suhaime and Abang Simpson for the smooth and safe journey. Really appreciate it! Big thanks to my guide. I couldn't have reached Panalaban and The Summit without your patience and support especially when my legs gave up. TQ Abang for looking after me and helping me through the cramps!!! TQ to our ViaFerrata instructor, James, for the professional guidance on the Ferrata!   I would like to thank Borneo Calling for the great help of our online customer service, shuttle chauffeurs, guides, etc., so I can rest assured that I can start my journey to Shenyang with my busy work. When climbing the mountain, guides often greet us and confirm our physical condition, but we are too tired to talk to him. Recommended for all those who want to visit Shogun!

  This is my 5th summit of Mt. Kinabalu and 1st time Low’s Peak Circuit via Ferrara. I did this with Borneo Calling. They are professional in organizing this activity with experienced guides. Fully recommended.

  We booked the 2D1N Mt Kinabalu trek through Borneo Calling and had a really smooth experience from start to finish. They organised everything — pick-up, drop-off, accommodation, meals and the Via Ferrata activity — which made the whole trip much easier to manage. We also had to change our Via Ferrata from Low’s Peak to Walk the Torq on the day, and they helped arrange that without any hassle. Our guide, Flawrence, was very considerate and never rushed us. He kept checking in throughout the trek and even helped carry some of our luggage when things got tough (which we hadn’t pre-booked), which we really appreciated. Overall, very well organised and supportive team. Would definitely recommend Borneo Calling if you’re planning Mt Kinabalu
