  William was an absolute highlight of our time in Singapore! He took us on an incredible food tour through three distinct areas of the city, where we got to experience authentic Chinese, Indian, and Malay cuisine giving us a real sense of just how rich and diverse Singaporean food culture truly is. It was the perfect way to understand the melting pot that makes Singapore so unique. What set William apart was how much he brought the experience to life beyond just the food. He was full of fascinating Singaporean history and fun facts about the city that kept us engaged and entertained throughout the entire day. You could tell he genuinely loves sharing his city with visitors. His enthusiasm was infectious. He made the whole tour an absolute joy. Knowledgeable, fun, and passionate about what he does, William is the kind of guide who turns a good trip into an unforgettable one. Would recommend him without hesitation to anyone visiting Singapore!

  I have to tell all tourists out there to be aware this withlocal tour !!!! Singapore were we joined this tour paying more than 200euro Yet getting cheap local food in Hawker centre when we find out that there's more than 100 Hawker centre in Singapore easily to local them all because Singapore is a very safe and easy going country safe gor hold day is less than Singapore $80 dollar the more disappointing is during tour Singapore guide suppose to pay for transport tickets to Singapore subway local guide me us pay for it???if you asked me this is not worth for $200Euro tour at all Please don't book it or you will regret don't worry to find out anything in Singapore because is easy for any tourists to go free and easy around the country the safest yet Also cheaper to go by yourself this is and English speaking country.

  Hello, I booked your private food tour through TripAdvisor for over $300 on May 15. Unfortunately the experience did not meet reasonable expectations for Premium private The guide was extremely difficult to understand throughout most of the very short tour, which made it hard to follow explanations or enjoy the experience In addition, the food portions and selections were very limited considering the price we paid. They were cheap pieces of bread for about six dollars US Singapore dollars and we were informed that if we wanted better food that would be extra. We received only a few few small bites mostly bread items and several inexpensive items costing around six dollars Singapore each Because of these issues, the tour did not provide the quality or value that was advertise or expected for a private experience at this point I am requesting a partial refund to fairly reflect the disappointing experience. Thank you for your attention and I look forward to your response. If they refuse Escalate through TripAdvisor customer support Mention Service not as described Keep the tone, calm and factual Request a charge back through the credit card company I am writing regarding the private tour book through TripAdvisor on May 15 which cost over 300 Unfortunately, the experience was extremely disappointing and did not match the quality expected nor the advertised for a Premium private tour Public TripAdvisor review Very disappointing experience for the price we paid. Over $300 for private food tour, which was billed as “Award Winning”. We expected high-quality experience, unfortunately the guide was extremely difficult to understand, was not knowledgeable, which made most of the tour frustrating and hard to follow the food. We had food from sad little stalls from which no one else was purchasing, bread, some tortilla like thing, and more bread. Portions and selections were also surprisingly minimal for the cost. The three we had ( some were closed, so we didn’t get those) mostly bread items and a few inexpensive snacks around 6SGD each. We were told we could have better food, but it would cost us extra. Like the transportation to the other markets that we also paid. What does $300 buy you with this tour? Aggravation and hunger. We finally said enough. The tour guide was mumbling about how you can buy anything in the market. Ok, great, we were hoping for an experience like others had, good food and insider guide to the Hawkers food stall. Not At All. The experience was laughably bad, except we wasted our afternoon and over $300. This tour was falsely advertised very poor value for the money. I’ve requested a refund. Steer clear!   Marcus Yeo was an informative and engaging tour guide! I had so much fun with him and the rest of the group. From the very beginning, could tell that he was very passionate about the local culture and food scene which translated to his patience in explaining at each stop. I’d highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, delicious, and insightful way to explore the city’s food culture.

  Arthur gave us an absolutely superb history of Singapore and how it shaped all the ethic communities that moved here and brought their broad spectrum of culinary choices. History shaped what was available to prepare. By going from Arab, to Indian, to Chinese to experience a world class night!

  This is a must do activity in Singapore. Our guide was Arthur. The food tasting was very well planned out. We started out in an area of the city which was rich with history and Arthur went over that history which provided a backdrop of what we were to eat on the tour. We had several items in the Arab section and then moved to Little India. After that we moved to Chinatown. With the exception of Singapore’s famed chicken and rice dish, all of the items we tasted were items we would never have ordered on our own which was an experience. There were many different taste bombs that exploded in your mouth. Let Arthur guide you to a culinary experience in Singapore. It will be one of your favorite activities.

  Highly recommend. We have visited Singapore before but were travelling with friends that have dietary restrictions and our guide was able to organize food that we all enjoyed. What a fun, delicious and informative afternoon we spent with Marcus. He gave us a great history of the food, culture and history of Singapore. We enjoyed the diverse cultural Hawker Centers and learned so much.

  We had an authentic Singaporean food experience. Author taught us about the history and offered us an opportunity to taste the unique flavors of Singaporean foods. He made sure we were comfortable despite the hot weather. We tried foods that we normally would have not known To order. This was a great experience for any foodie. We were full 1/2 way thru the tour. But YOLO.
