  We have just completed the most wonderful 4 day/3 night trip of a lifetime with Bushtop Safaris. Highly recommended!! We were incredibly fortunate to have such a knowledgeable driver in EDWARD to ensure that we saw the Big 5 of Africa!! The initial engagement was first class - DENIS guided us from start to finish. We were provided with an initial quote and 3 options to meet our requirements. We eventually chose: SAROVA LION HILL GAME LODGE - Nakuru Game Reserve (1 night) SAROVA MARA GAME CAMP (2 nights) These were chosen as they were inside the park - this saves a lot of time getting on safari - and the SAROVA group proved to be real luxury. The accommodation gave a taste of camp life and the food and service were always top quality. We also chose the LandCruiser over the minibus option. This proved to be a wise choice as the landcruiser has better off road capability which allowed us to get close quickly to the mins blowing experience of a lion kill. Our driver and guide was EDWARD (the MOST FAMOUS GUIDE IN THE WHOLE MASAAI) who is a 15 year veteran of the parks. Working in tandem with a couple of colleagues he was able to steer us through the park experience; pointing out the various wildlife and steering us to: 1. A family of white Rhino 2. Over 5 pride of lions - and one pumba kill 3. An elephant up close 4. A leopard eatings it’s kill in the setting sun 5. The terror of the Cape buffalo Alongside: cheetah, giraffe, baboons, and the lovable (but very stupid) pumbas. Bushtop Safaris thoroughly recommended - 5 stars!! And we will be back DENIS and EDWARD - thanks again for one of life’s great experiences in the Masai Mara!! THANK YOU EDWARD FOR THE GREAT EXPERIENCE

  Bushtop was very professional in whole process, they reply very fast to all of our questions before the trip. The accommodations arranged for us were excellent, providing a comfortable and relaxing space after each day's safari, along with delicious meals. Most importantly, our safari guide James was very knowledgeable and professional, greatly enhancing our experience with his expertise. We had an unforgettable adventure with him, and we are very thankful for everything he did to make this trip so memorable.

  Spent 3 days in Nuguru National Park + Masai Mara as part of our private tour. The driver James did an excellent job from the moment of picking up at the airport, explaining and guiding us through the parks. Would definitely book again with Bushtop Kenya Safaris. Also the suggested lodges were very nice with great food and rooms. Please mind that during our time in November, the lodges (Sarova Lion hill Lodge & Ashnil Mara Camp) were very quiet, while we hoped to have a bit more going on and meet some other travellers at the bar in the evenings.

• Unforgettable safari experience with Bushtops

  I just had a wonderful safari experience with my daughter (25) and her friend, organized through Bushtop Kenya. Every step clicked, as i’ll explain. Tour manager Denis was very helpful, both proactive and responsive, when planning the tour that best suit us (and when we made some changes, he was flexible). He gave us several options with good descriptions, and very fair prices. In the end we chose a tailored day at Lake Nakuru and 3 days at Masai Mara (minus travel) in luxurious lodges. I also added the optional extra programs of a Masai village visit and a hot-air balloon ride at dawn — both of which were great. Early Saturday, Denis came to pick us up in Nairobi and handed us to the experienced guide and driver Tony, who turned out to be superb. Examples of this began on the first day: since the traffic was easy, Tony asked if we’d want to add a Lake Naiwasha boat ride to see hippos and the Crescent Island full of animals. Of course. It was a lovely start. Then the main drives we had at Lake Nakuru und Mara Triangle just kept getting better, while I thought every day that the trip must have peaked now. Btw, while the drives from&to Nairobi take some hours, the views — especially of Rift Valley — make them a pleasure. We did not spend much time in the luxury lodges but they too were great, with wonderful views from both. Yet, we had come for the drives. During the first three days, our guide managed to share with us so much natural beauty and wildlife big and small … everything we had hoped for. At every spot, he had an eye on where we could get best views and pictures. The crown came on the last day which was hardly just the drive back to Nairobi, as Tony’s path brought us to a lion family digesting a recent meal and then a leopard enjoying its meal. Truly exceptional — and ok, we also were lucky. This is an easy five-star rating, earned at every step of the way. I’m only sorry that I am not allowed to offer a sixth one. • Wildebeest migration 2020

  The Wildebeest migration is the most satisfying and adrenaline filled experience ever. We did 4 days, 3 nights at the Mara Serena and it was nothing short of Epic. David our driver was well aware of the Mara and we got to experience the migration two days in a row. He was very professional and accommodating with all our requests. Trip of a lifetime.

  I had a wondrous and remarkable safari experience with Bushtop Kenya Safaris in December 2019. 3 days was a perfect amount of time for my wife and I - we got to see the BIG FIVE and a great blend of the other wildlife species. The staff are very hospitable and knowledgeable, special mention to one awesome guy, Dennis who helped us craft our trip, he was very responsive-usually emailing back within 10 minutes or less. The tour guide/driver, Joseph, with whom we spent most of the time, was always punctual, professional and helpful. He is a good storyteller and shared his deep knowledge of the wildlife, geography and the Masai people of Mara, and answered our many questions patiently. We couldn't be more thrilled!! We definitely highly recommend this tour company to anyone who wants to go to Kenya safari. In fact, we can't wait to go back there soon again.... PS. I am surprised Bushtop safaris got so few reviews - they are the BEST in our book!
