普段は倉敷でメガネ屋さんを営まれている小林ヤスヱ先生が作り方を教えてくれます。
てまりは、古くから倉敷の民芸品として愛されてきました。もみ殻をまとめて芯にし、糸を巻き刺繍したものです。こちらの体験では、こちらで用意した芯に刺繍をすることから始めます。
倉敷のお土産物として人気のてまりを作るワークショップを開催します。好きな柄で世界に1つのてまりを作ってみませんか。お部屋に飾ったり、キーホルダーにしたり、使い方は色々です。

Fun and Enjoyable Workshop for Learning about Temaris

5.00This is a great workshop for learning the basics of designing patterns and decorating a temari. We learned about how patterns are designed based on the number of "wedges"/hemispheres that the sphere is divided into, selecting colors, adjusting the design for different thread weights, etc.
