• Well Organized Tour with an Amazing Driver, but Very Crowded

  Overall, the 3-day Bromo, Ijen and waterfall tour was very well organized and everything worked smoothly. A special thank you to our driver, Dian, who was incredibly friendly, professional, and made the long drives very comfortable. We always felt safe and well taken care of. However, we were surprised by the huge number of tourists everywhere. We did the trip in early June and hardly had a moment to ourselves. The waterfall was beautiful, but extremely crowded, with people moving up and down the stairs in large groups. Bromo was definitely worth the experience and the sunrise was stunning, but there were long waiting times and traffic jams, sometimes up to one or two hours. To get a good spot for sunrise, you also have to wait for quite a while in the middle of the night. Ijen was the most crowded part for us. The hike is quite demanding, and doing it in a large crowd took away some of the experience. At the moment, the famous blue fire can only be seen in very small areas, and due to bad weather we were unfortunately unable to fully enjoy the blue lake. If you dislike mass tourism, we would probably not recommend this tour and personally would not do it a second time. Still, Bromo itself was an unforgettable experience, and having Dian as our driver made the trip much more enjoyable. 😊🙏

  We had an amazing time. Although it was the first time we booked a group tour like this and that we were a bit skeptical about the experience of a big group tour, it was lovely to share such a moment with like minded people. All the guides were incredible, the organization was flawless. Thank you so much for having us on the tour!

  What an amazing tour! Great communication from Mador every step of the way. Super well organized and so amazing getting to see all 3 beautiful landscapes. There were very early wake ups, but worth it for the sunrise. Shoutout to our van driver, Bondan, who was super sweet and funny. Also super nice how it included transfer all the way back to our stay in Bali. Would recommend Mador to anyone!

  I had a fantastic experience on this 3D2N tour and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting Indonesia. Everything was well organized, from the activities and transportation to the overall coordination of the trip. The team was friendly, professional, and always willing to help. Special thanks to the drivers, who were highly skilled and made me feel safe and comfortable throughout the journey. We were also lucky with the weather and got to enjoy all the highlights of Tumpaksewu, Bromo, and Ijen. The scenery was absolutely stunning and made every early morning start worthwhile.   This Mador hostel tour was a 10/10. The guides and drivers were all so lovely - very friendly, attentive and helpful. It was a super early wake up everyday and they all still had smiles on their faces the whole time. Special shoutout to my driver Irham - so helpful, always on time (as was everyone on the tour), and super friendly! Irham was much appreciated by all of us :)

  I took the 3-day/2-night tour including Tumpak Sewu waterfall, Mount Bromo, and Ijen. Everything was perfectly organized from start to finish. The meals were very good, the accommodations comfortable and of high quality. Our driver Bobi was fantastic!! We were also accompanied by very friendly and professional guides, who allowed us to be among the first at each site and to avoid the crowds. I recommend it without hesitation!

  Spectacular. Communication on WhatsApp super fast and take away all doubts. Very organized. Comfortable complete transportation service, delicious food and even includes snakcs, super attentive guides, wonderful hotels. All very safe and carefully in preparation. I recommend.

  The 3 Day East Java Tour with Mador Hostel was so so amazing we loved everything! Especially our driver (his name was Randa) was so kind and drove us safely to all the places (don‘t forget to tip your driver because the distances from Place to Place are long and tiring to them). The Food was great and there were always vegetarian options. We had really nice accomodations for both nights, we even had a pool on the second day. They dropped us of in Bali without charging us what was great too. We also had amazing Guides that were so helpful and funny.
