  Had a great tour with insights into local culture and stunning landscapes. They catered for every of my wishes including detours to scenic spots. Everything was well organised. At the end i was even invited to dinner at the owners home. A great experience thanks!

• Rich immersion in Minangkabau land and culture

  Enjoyed a 4-days immersion in Minangkabau region guided by a great team. From an ideally located home-stay at the foot of what looks like a 100m high waterfall to a trek in a contrasted stunning landscapes - rice paddies, huge granite cliffs - in the valley neighbouring Harau valley to an authentic home cooked meal at one of the guides grandma’s house, we never stopped to be amazed. The care and flexibility received by our guides brought the experience to another level so we could enjoy each discovery of Minang customs (Adat): talempong and rythmic Minang danse, bull race in rice fields, pencak silat (local martial art) and tari piring show, silver ornaments, songket, embroidery, there is so much to see. The highlands around Bukittinggi and Padang have a lot to offer and climate is nice up there. On the last day we even got to see the Marapi volcano act out and cloud the sky with its ashes making the view an unforgettable one! Don’t hesitate.   Our one group (12 people) went tour to Rznah Minang using the Agent Minangkabau Adventures Tour. The servants were very satisfied as well as the gentleness of their guides in explaining about Minangkabau culture. Recommended deh basically.
