  5-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate budget safari Grayton Expeditions was exquisite! Not only was the itinerary jam-packed with highlights, such as stunning wildlife encounters, boat rides, cycling at the Hell's Gate, staying at top-notch accommodation and tucking into scrumptious food, but I also came away with a renewed appreciation for different species of African wildlife and a heightened understanding that every plant, insect and animal plays a role in the ecosystem. Our driver/guide and hosts at the lodges were passionate about wildlife and incredibly willing to share their expertise with guests. It was an absolute pleasure to learn from them! Of course, it was a bonus that a portion of the proceeds from the safari go directly to the conservation of Elephants, rhinos and other wildlife, and that the lodges at which I stayed all make a concerted effort to minimize environmental impact. I hope to be back!

  Amazing 14-Day Kenya and Tanzania The Whole experience was Amazing!! I cannot say enough good things about the safaris, the people, and your organization. It was almost like each drive/guide was better than the one before! All of the drivers/guides were great and full of information. Yes, some were not as spectacular, but we realized that the animals were wild and not just waiting for us to drop by and see them. In many cases, at the last minutes of the drive, we would see something we hadn't seen before. During our 14-day safari, we saw lions, leopards, rhinos, elephants, giraffes, civets, genets, bush babies, monkeys, baboons, hippos, crocodiles, and much more. Being able to see these animals up close was amazing! We also saw African birds of prey a Barn Owl, some African Barred Owlets, a Pearl Spotted Owlet, an African Scops Owl, and a Vereaux's Eagle Owl. There were some birders along on our safari which enhanced our experience with their expertise and experience. Some of the highlights were seeing a mother rhino with a baby under a week old and seeing lions mating in Lake Manyara. The accommodations were great, especially Masai Mara and Ngorongoro. The food was fabulous! Each Lodge/camp worked hard to see that we were well taken care of. I appreciate the ethics and purpose of your organization and would recommend Grayton Expeditions to anyone. I would love to go on another safari, although it may be a while before that happens. Thank you for arranging this Amazing safari. It was the Safari of a lifetime for me!

  7 Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Tsavo East/West Kenya Safari We are just back from a wonderful safari adventure in Kenya. We stayed at three lodges/Camps, each very different and great in their way. We saw the big 5, with multiple encounters with lions, including 3 month-old cubs, 2 leopard black sightings, white and black rhinos, wild dogs on three occasions, and regular or daily sightings of hyena, hippo, giraffe, elephant, zebra, and various antelope species. Along the way, I noted over 100 bird species too. Our first lodge was Offbeat Mara which was great. A private reserve, meaning we were the only vehicle which was great but meant no news from others, we had to find everything ourselves. This was great as it meant we had to work hard for our rewards. Our hosts were fantastic, as was the amazing food. The accommodation was excellent. Dan our driver/guide was brilliant. Next, we moved to Flamingo Hill Tented Camp in Nakuru National Park, where we stayed in a family tent. This was fine although getting out of bed for an early safari at 5 am was very cold! The camp was great though and we enjoyed communal dining and made some great friends. Our hosts again were fabulous. The morning safaris were at a private reserve which was 30 minutes away so again we had the reserve to ourselves. Our last stop was at Tsavo East/West, at Finch Hattons Luxury Tented Camp. This was equally as enjoyable if different. It is a big reserve with several lodges. There are several vehicles out each day but not too many that it felt overcrowded. We could spend quite a lot of time on our own before encountering another vehicle and we also had the benefit of the driver/guide being in touch via radio so sightings could be shared. Dan our was great. Overall I would highly recommend this holiday. I am glad we went to Tsavo last as we saw so much there possibly the other safaris may have been a little bit of an anti-climax but the way around we did it was perfect. We want to revisit Kenya one day, visit Ol Pejeta Conservancy, and go find a cheetah somewhere. Overall the holiday could not be faulted.

  5-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate Budget Safari We couldn't have chosen a better way to visit Kenya than our trip with Grayton Expeditions. From the moment Sandra and Arony met at the Jomo Kenyatta International Airport, we felt welcome and well taken care of. Lake Nakuru Lodge was the perfect way to start our safari. Our Driver/guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic about the fauna and flora The food was delicious and plentiful. And the animals ... WOW! What a joy to see them so close. We felt truly fortunate to have a driver/guide who was so attuned to their habitats that they could spot a tiny bush baby in the dark, or predict where and when a leopard would emerge from the bush. We loved placing our camera trap and revisiting it 5 days later. We recorded visits from a Jackal, an Impala, a Bush Fox and a beautiful Leopard! It was important to us that we spend our money in a way that would have a positive impact on conservation and community. Grayton Expeditions contributes so much to Elehpant conservation and the primary school in Masai Mara. We were lucky to have had the opportunity to visit the conservation centre in Nairobi and the school and see what a difference they make. One couldn't ask for a more companionable, knowledgable and fun-to-be-with Driver/guide Arony. Sandra made the administrative side of the entire safari run smoothly, and so stress-free that we were able to enjoy every minute of our safari. I truly cannot imagine a better way to visit this remarkable country.

  5-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru & Hell's Gate Budget Safari Just returned from this most enjoyable (and different) safari in Kenya. Excellent driver/guide in Dan. A thoughtful mix of accommodation, and activities at Hell;s Gate made the whole trip flow together and made us appreciate the planning that had been put in by Sandra. Wildlife sightings were excellent (especially elephants) but the whole experience was different to the normal lodge/game drive safari. I would suggest it is a more authentic way to experience and get a feel for the real African Safari.

  5-Day Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru and Hell's Gate Budget Safari Enjoyed Sopa Mara Lodge in Masai Mara with solar power, luxury Lodge lovely accommodation. I loved all of it! Food was fantastic at the first two lodges and very good at the third one. The Driver/Guide was knowledgeable and enthusiastic, no complaints whatsoever. The Animals were the stars, and they were in abundance, from big to small. I especially enjoyed the informative and fun bush walk with Olekina at Hell's Gate and the optional cycling in the wild with wild animals. The Grayton Expeditions team never dropped the ball on anything. Everything went smoothly. I highly recommend this company and Sandra for taking Her time to ensure that we enjoyed the safari.

  5-Days Masai Mara, Lake Nakuru, and Hell's Gate Private Safari Grayton Expeditions provided an amazing safari experience for our family holiday in Kenya. The safari was designed to enable us to see a wide range of wildlife and did not disappoint - we saw all of the 'big five' and many other species of animals, birds and reptiles. The lodges and tented camps provided high-quality accommodation in beautiful locations and had been carefully selected. We felt very safe throughout and were well looked after by the knowledgeable team. I would highly recommend this safari to anyone who is planning a safari to Kenya in the future

  5-Day Private Safari Every Day A Lovely New Adventure Recently I had my second trip to Kenya, and this one was by far the best. Everything arranged by Grayton Expeditions happened smoothly and seamlessly. Now I have a full appreciation of why my friend loves Kenya, and why she entrusts her schedule to Sandra, Kenya is a beautiful country full of happy people and flora and Fauna the topography is amazing all the time, and if I ever have an opportunity to visit again, I would not hesitate to put myself in the capable hands of Grayton Expeditions, and then relax.

  5-Day Private Safari We loved Kenya, and we are pleased we made the safari; we will return to Kenya at some stage in the future. We were lucky with what we saw, and the highlight for me was the tour of Sheldrick Wildlife Trust, which was fascinating and informative. The safari jeep used in the National parks was spacious for all of us with a pop roof great for viewing and photography.

  5-Days Private Safari Masai Mara I took my parents on this holiday of a lifetime and we were extremely happy with how everything was organized by Grayton Expeditions. The staff, the Driver/guide, and everyone at the lodge were amazing. The food was outstanding, and the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. The Driver/guide who took us on a drive or walk has a clear passion for the animals, plans, and the ecosystem of Masai Mara and it shows. Each day was an adventure and each day we managed to see something extraordinary. I couldn't recommend them highly enough.
