  I recently went on a tour of Shanghai and would definitely recommend it. The experience included a fantastic cycle tour through the city, visits to some excellent local food spots, and in-depth historical insights into many of Shanghai’s important landmarks. Our tour guide, Portia, was exceptional — she knows Shanghai like the back of her hand and takes you to places you would never discover with the larger commercial tour companies. One of the many highlights was visiting a traditional tea shop, where a mother and daughter performed beautiful classical Chinese music on traditional instruments, creating a truly memorable experience. Don’t think twice — book this tour if you want a unique and authentic experience of Shanghai.

  Tour was fantastic! Portia (tour guide) is VERY knowledgable of the area, and history behind it. She is super friendly and really makes a big effort to adjust to clients needs. We went to the jewish museum (formerly sinagogue) and the market, even though it was not on the schedule. We had a great time, in fact, the tour lasted much longer than scheduled but she was always eager to help.Tour is very dinamic (walk... bike...ferry...even subway!). It was difficult to get to the meeting point but they actually managed to pick me up at the hotel in no time. Ive been to many tours before and I would rate this 10 out of 10...really!

  We had an excellent experience on this tour. Portia was a wonderful guide - knowledgeable, flexible, enthusiastic and always willing to answer our questions. The tour gave us a great experience of Shanghai and its history. Would thoroughly recommend!

  Our very friendly and knowledgeable guide Portia took us to different interesting places, while telling us about different background stories and customs😊The combination of feet, bike and ferry is really fun and various🤭The snacks are really tasty too, and what a privilege to have our own photographer~! Thank you again~!

  We met close to an subwatstation in Shanghai, it was easy ti find the guide. She welcomed us and took us on a journey araound the city. We walked, bisycled and took ferry. We got to know history and culture, old and new buildings, temple, good views, good weather and she took us to spesial places we would never find our selves.   We took the tour with Portia in October. The weather was not on our side as it was raining all day, but we made it work anyways. The tour started in Pudong, showing us a hidden gem midst the busy streets. Due to the rain we skipped the bike tour along the river, but Portia gave us some recommendations to do it another time. We enjoyed the ferry ride and were ready for some yummy food in a suprising location. After we found a rather unknown but very beautiful temple where we learned about the relationship of Chinese to their temples. The worthy finale was a tea ceremony with original tea from Yunnan. Lovely hostesses shared their knowledge of tea with us and even gave us a small concert. We enjoyed the quiet, before Portia sent us on our way with many more recommendations. Overall we really enjoyed our day and would definately book other tours to get to know the less known places of Shanghai.

  It was a really awesome experience! Mia was an awesome guide. She was very knowledgeable about the history of the historical sites. We learned a lot and we cannot wait for a second visit to China! Thank you Mia!
